Hospital Again
Today is ENT as I had an endoscopy several week ago and that showed some bile in my stomach and early
gastroenteritis
. the reason I had gone was that I have food sticking in my throat.

busy week
Today i am at the hospital for a Dexa Scan, Thursday i am at the hospital at the ENT to see if they can find out what is the reason for food sticking in my throat as the endoscopy showed clear apart from some
gastroenteritis
and fluid in my stomach. Next week is as busy as well.

I have been asked to share my story. Make yourself comfy and I will begin .......
Local hospital suggest diveticulitis but I think it was just
gastroenteritis
made worse by my low immune system and past problems. Again the local hospital does not have access to my mountain of notes in Manchester.. Over the years other related problems have occured.

So I've recently started experiencing severe IBS symptoms - how do I stop the diarrhoea?
So my symptoms have worsened after a bout of
gastroenteritis
. It's becoming increasingly difficult to keep food in as I am persistent diarrhoea, it's beginning to affect me mentally as I'm scared to eat anything - which is affecting other parts of my body as I'm not taking in and nutrients.

Hello! PBC - I have no idea what's going on!
I'm booked up for regular endoscope exams and seeing the
gastroenteritis
doctor again in September. He seems to expect at some point that my cirrhosis will develop tumours but blood tests will show this up. As I say it's my first proper blog post. Hello to everyone with this condition!

What now!
Since I started my menopause, which was 4 years ago I've been having a terrible time, my poor stomach has gone through the wars, first it was the menopause, then
gastroenteritis
, then more scan, more endoscopies, then helibactus pylori, then a colonoscopy, and now divaticulitus, now IBS!

Did/does anybody ever expierienced stomach upset/pain/gastroenteritis/ duodenitis -after taking Erfa Thyroid?
I can't believe this but my duodenitis symptoms are back- pain in my middle right abdomen. I don't know if I should associate it with erfa. I took it for 3 days and I was feeling some slight improvements which gave me hope but now this duodenitis is back... I am so sad. I hope that's not erfa.

Possibly Endo - ideas?
After 4 days and being told period pains/
gastroenteritis
I was sent to the GP unit at the hospital who told me it was a burst ovarian cyst, pain would subside and I would be called for a scan and a follow up appointment.

I seem to be recovering from a recent flare-up of IBS and wanted to share things that have helped!
A recent bout of
gastroenteritis
abroad triggered and flared up my condition and the past 9months have been hell!. After an intense set of medical tests (colonoscopy, endoscopy, stool tests, ultrasound etc) I was told the results didn't suggest anything serious.

Nasty Gastric Virus :(
I had a hight temperature, low blood pressure and low pulse and was diagnosed with a
gastroenteritis
. The pain was worse than giving birth, I just wanted to die. It lasted for a whole week and I'm just starting to feel myself and eating again.

Bowel endo or something else?
They thought it was probably
gastroenteritis
but to go to my doctor so they could have a feel of my tummy. So did as suggested but my doctor wasn't sure what's happening! She thinks it could be endo. I wondered if anyone has suffered similar bowel problems due to endo?

update on last weekends madness
They checked his bloods and stools and said he had
gastroenteritis
and this could of caused his eczema to flare up as bad as it did, rather than it being an allergic reaction. Im def going back to the GP next week to see what they say!!!!

Bit of rant... sorry
I was in due to
gastroenteritis
but with the transplant and all the drugs I couldn't fight it off and i got so dehydrated that my kidney (Kevin) stopped working (or at least slowed down dramatically).

I wrote this September 2003, by way of a thank you to St.Mary's PICU
After examining her, she told that us that she had a
gastroenteritis
type bug, to ensure that she had plenty of fluids, and to treat any fever with Calpol. Iona seemed sleepy and lethargic, but we put this down to a night of continued vomiting and lack of sleep.
