FINALLY
I then ended up after 2 days of having the laparoscopy with
gastroenteritis
. It took its toll on me, once the infection took hold. After 4 weeks of originally having the infection, I felt exhausted. I reported I felt physically and mentally drained. All I currently do is sleep for Europe.

Health Check: what bugs can you catch from your pets?

Diarrhea. Help Please ?
By Wednesday I was advised to take Imodium, my surgeon suspects
Gastroenteritis
. Imodium was a disaster. My stomach exit blocked, forcing food back into my throat causing me to vomit along . Being blocked up I developed agonising chest pains.

For everyone who has been asking...
My bowel stuck to my ovary because of some adhesions that i had from ibs, endoscopy,
gastroenteritis
etc... They said they've sorted it all out now, the adhesions may or may not come back. If they do come back, and if they are painful, then i can have another surgery to sort it out xx

Nothing, then two come along together
Loads of tests done and nothing was found apart from they thought it may have been a pretty extreme
gastroenteritis
so after a weekend stay in Worcester Royal I returned home. Little did I know I would be returning to see the very same nurses on Beech ward in a few weeks time.

Absolutely Terrified
This past week has been a nightmare as I went down with
Gastroenteritis
which usually brings on vomiting but thankfully up to now I have managed not to vomit. I know it's a psychological thing but I still cannot get over this problem. Any advice would be most grateful

We discussed my whole sorry story and he strongly thinks I had acute Pancreatitis(some clues in my first blood work) and
gastroenteritis
. Also said things can take a long long time to get back to normal. He also said be careful when reading google, it can scare you silly!

Gastro and Bladder problems and anxiety with Endo - help please xx
I have terrible griping pains and nausea and fever - I have been to hospital twice and they say its
gastroenteritis
even though I am neither sick or having diarrhea. I have an appointment with a gyne and I am going to organise another Laparoscopy so hopefully this will help.

Anxiety building at thought of going back to work.
Over the last year I have been off work 3 times with
gastroenteritis
and I have currently been signed off for 2 weeks due to the sciatic pain. This is the first time I have had to get a doctors line as the others were self certificates.

My IBS was caused by a serious case of Viral
Gastroenteritis
. My triggers seem to be hard alcohol, like your vodkas and rums and such, but funnily enough Ales seem to help it!!! My other triggers are caffeine, very sugary drinks and the main one is stress.
