Garlic properties
I just read this description "
Garlic
really is good for you! It can reduce inflammation, boost the immune system and improve cardiovascular health." I am confused. Reducing inflammation GOOD. Boosting the immune system" we wouldn't want to do that, would we?

Tea tonight
Nothing special, but as others are posting their meals too... fish, bell pepper, onion, mushrooms,
garlic
, peri peri sauce. This is 752 kcal, but I was too busy at work today and skipped lunch. I washed this down with a can of non-alcoholic beer.

Thinking about my stomach too much!
I know certain foods affect me like onions,
garlic
and I also struggle with dairy. I also know stress plays a big part when I can feel my tummy tightening.

Recent B12 diagnosis
The evening I had constant fluttering in my chest started shortly after eating a pasta meal with
garlic
bread, hence lots of gluten! If you have got this far in my post, thank you!

Foods/Supplements-Vitamins: Garlic
No
garlic
is harmed when prepping for a '40 clove chicken' recipe, which is presumably why the
garlic
-averse are able to eat it. An efficient way of producing DADS & DATS is to put the cloves through a
garlic
press.

Sitting on the toilet until my legs go numb.
I've avoided onions and
garlic
the whole time. This morning I've had diarrhoea again after weeks of normal ish bowel movements and I'm really frustrated. I ate nothing new over the last couple of days and am no more stressed than normal. I can't understand what may have caused this flare up.

Garlic and thyroxine
Does anyone know if
garlic
interacts with thyroxine? I am interested in trying a high dose of aged
garlic
as a recent study found it reduced plaque build up in the arteries and brain better than drugs!

Store cupboard diner Rustic Chicken and Veg Soup with Garlic and Herb Crutons.
Well I haven't been to the supermarket today so decided I would cook from what is left in my cupboard. It was basically chicken soup with vegatables that needed to be used up. Mr T really enjoyed it and so did I. Very filling. Nothing to throw away before supermarket visit tomorrow - even better. ☺ As

My journey to cure my endometriosis
Try to have onions with every meal (such as salad onions) and
garlic
as much as possible – supports the liver and inactives oestrogens through methylation.

Day 2 Detox Diet
I stuck to my guns when it came to the diet though- just had a big bowl of steamed green vegetables with a bit of butter and lemon for lunch, and then whilst I cooked my mum a pizza I cooked myself some pumpkin and spinach (just with a bit of stock, fresh
garlic
and herbs).

Paroxysmal atrial fibrillation and Apixaban blood thinner (anticoagulant) - please help. Thank you.
I stopped drinking coffee, I eat healthy (cooking with
garlic
and turmeric every day) and I only have max one glass of red wine per week. I also take a handful of vitamins and minerals every day. My question is regarding blood thinner (anticoagulant) Apixaban 2.5 mg.

I know where I am going...and I know who's going with me...
A journey of a year… to the day; I started this adventure after a French holiday of drowsy days, culinary delights and long evenings scented with wild
garlic
and the sound of the cicadas in my ears.

Gluten / Fructan intolerance & unsympathetic doctor
So from today I'm going to eliminate all wheat products and see if I can also eliminate onion and
garlic
(which will be difficult). Anyone got any tips for doing this? I asked my GP but she wouldn't help and even refused to comment on whether doing this might be beneficial. Thanks.

Garlic-What does this have to do with Diabetes
Garlic
should be in every kitchen. It is a plant-based food which is good for many illnesses. Here is a link to an article I wrote this week. It mentions the many health benefits of
garlic
.
