Vegan Parmesan
A handful of cashews, two tablespoons of nutritional yeast and a teaspoon of garlic salt. Whizz it up and there you have it. You can adjust to your own taste. I put it on pizza, soups, tomatoes, baked potatoes. It can keep in the fridge for a week or two but ours doesn't last that long.

Quite possibly my best run yet!!!!
A nice bit of flat but I was running into the wind and rain - past the farm stall with sweetcorn, sunflowers and homegrown garlic, past another little stall "run" by the kids of friends of mine - a couple of superb examples of marrows there!
Blackbirds and Blueberries
Yesterday I'd cooked a home made lasagne, salad and reduced fat garlic bread for a friend which we hadn't seen for a some time and we were sitting at the table gazing out of the window when he squealed with delight, "just look at that blackbird".
