Hi All you lovely Luppy's. I am curious to know if anyone else suffers with coldsores? For about 2 months now I have had one coldsore after another on my face, lips and chin. I have always been prone to them so I am careful not to touch them, change towels, etc. But i just seem to have them all the time

Colds, colds and colds again
For some reason the last 3 months have been punctuated by some kind of bug or another. I've had a host of colds and bugs, either typical "common cold" or stomach bugs. I seem to get one, it'll hang around for a week or so, then I'll have a clear week (2 if I'm lucky) then I get something else. Had thought

Sores......
I suffer with SLE Lupus, underactive thyroid and chronic pelvic pain. Just recently I've had a sweat rash underneath my tummy. I'm now wondering if it's a lupus flare instead. I've had it now for about 3 weeks and no cream seems to be helping with it at all. I went to my doctor last week he didn't

vitamin B complex
I am a vegetarian and I take a vitamin B complex every day and also sevenseas "active" omega 3 fish oil for my joints, but I guess it should benefit more than that. I avoid taking cod liver oil as a doctor once told me it was high in cholesterol, which surprised and concerned me as it is so widely

Hi all, I have COPD which I believe in early stages though of late getting worse as I have had one virus after another
the first one was a very bad bout of Sinusitis which also ended with a cough so had some antibiotics which appeared to clear things up a lot then wham, within a few days went down with another virus this one very nasty as it has given me conjunctivitis for starters which the doctor said is viral, bad

At long last
Pete has his operation date for his spinal cord stimulator to be fitted at long last. After waiting for almost 2 years he is to go into Southampton Hospital on Wednesday 20th May. I now just have to keep him well and hope all will be fine. Thanks to all who have followed this saga. Stay well all. xxx

horrible scaly rash
For the last 3 months I`ve had a red scaly rash on my right thigh. It doesn`t itch or hurt, but it looks repulsive, like the skin of a reptile. Iv`e read that this can be a sign of underactive thyroid, but surely the medication I`m on should take care of this? I put tons of aqueous cream on it, but it

Heavy Cold & Sore Throat
Hi everyone, I haven´t been on here for some time as thankfully I have been keeping well. However, I´ve been suffering with a very heavy cold, sore throat and cough for three days now. I take 4 x 2.5 mg methorexate every week and have read the leaflet which advises no other drugs should be taken.

Spinal cord stimulation
Hi, I need advice on who to contact in the nhs to be put forward for spinal cord stimulation. I am not a confident person and am worried I would be turned down and not have the knowledge to back myself up with knowledge and facts to show I should be considered. I don't know anyone who has had this done

RA receptionist wouldn't go and ask someone for me. I am due to take a Humeria injection today but have broken out in

CHRONIC CARE NURSES
These nurses are little angels of mercy because I live in a nursing home after their initial visit they were satisfied that all was in place for me here. But they never left it at that, they ring me once a week and the nurse manager like wise, very often they can put things into place which could not

We went to Tesco's this afternoon...look at me, writing about a feckin' supermarket as though it's seriously interesting...anyway we went and the sky was bright blue and the wind howled and rocked the car when we came to the open parts of the road... Lorries were tucked into the slow lane...it must be
