Ovary removal
Hello, So after stage 4 endo diagnosis via a lap, Covid hit and my surgery and consultant appointments went on hold. 2 years later I’m finally having left ovary removal plus endo surrounding that ovary removed this week. What should I expect post op, any advise from any one that has had similar surgery

Raised LFT Question
Good morning, I was wondering if anyone could offer me any insight to my blood test results. I used Thriva to check my Liver function amongst other things and all come back ok except GGT of 112. I mentioned to GP and she ordered some more blood tests. In the meanwhile I have had a hysterectomy almost

Faolure to book MRCP/cholangiopathy
In June I had an ERCP to remove a stone stuck in my bile duct. Afterwards I was told that my bile duct was suspicious for cholangiopathy and the ducts to/in my liver looked narrowed. They said that I may have an autoimmune liver condition and they were booking an mri/mrcp which would be about 4 weeks

Acid ursodeoxycholic and Fenofibrate for PBC
Hiya! An internist suggested that mixing the urso with fenofibrate has shown good results for patients with PBC. I was recently diagnosed with PBC overlap AIH. Are any of you talking it together? Any insight that you could share with me?

Making sense of IVF in your 40s…
Hi, first time on here and hoping to connect with some of you and your stories. I’m 41, just completed a second round of ICSI which has failed. OTD tomorrow morning but BFNs up until this point. Should say I’ve had a left blocked tube and hydrosalpinx, as well as a polyp removal. My AMH is 6.19 1st

My fatty liver hurts
My fatty liver hurts every day. Anyone experienced that? Or it is consequences of my cholecystectomy and being out of sync with bile?

GALL BLADDER OUT!!! PMR fine and dandy. Had my gallbladder out 16 days ago. 4 little cuts made by the AMAZING DaVinci machine. They showed me how it works when I was in the operating room and I only wish I could have watched it all. Had a couple rough days.. nausea and pain and then complete and easy

Hello all, I was diagnosed with endometriosis aged 21 after 8 years of awful problems and symptoms. After my first laparoscopy I was initially told it was “just a few spots of endometriosis” and my options were chemically induced menopause (gnrh and add back HRT) or to get pregnant and they fitted

Does this sound like a stomach ulcer?
Hello, about 6 weeks ago I suddenly had pain in my upper middle abdomen, that radiated to the back and sides and built over a few hours. Eventually I was vomiting bile and this continued for 2 days. As I’d been taking NSAIDS fairly regularly over the past year my doctor recommend I start a PPI medication

Life Post Hysterectomy
So I had an abdominal hysterectomy with oophorectomy on the 1st of July. I am 6 weeks post-op. Pain on or around the wound is much better though its still a bit sore and hurts if Im sitting too long. Endopain is gone so far 🤞🤞 Struggling big time with energy levels. Have started transitioning back

Flare up and PCR Covid Test
Would anyone suggest taking a PCR Covid test during a Lupus flare up that comes with a low-grade fever? Could this have an affect on the results?

Should I have my ovaries removed?
Hi, anyone out there had subtotal hysterectomy and then had ovaries removed at a later date? Are you pain free now? How has having a surgical menopause effected you? I am on a waiting list to have ovaries removed but I’m really unsure if it’s what I want. Thank you Bunnyrunning xxx

Just now discovering things I really never wanted to know.
Hello, I just joined to see what everyone is talking about. I have been diagnosed with serous cell uterine Stage III by one doc and Stage IV by another doc. I've had 6 rounds of chemotherapy of paclitaxal and carboplatin. In addition I am HER2+. So I received transtuzamab along with chemo. Had surgery
