GALL BLADDER OUT!!! PMR fine and dandy. Had my gallbladder out 16 days ago. 4 little cuts made by the AMAZING DaVinci machine. They showed me how it works when I was in the operating room and I only wish I could have watched it all. Had a couple rough days.. nausea and pain and then complete and easy recovery from here on. Even taught my yoga class today... AND did not increase prednisone or have any PMR flare. So feeling good. Off to SWEDEN in 11 days!!! (after so many cancelled trips..the last for the fool Gallbladder.) Thanks all for your advice and support! ONWARD.

Yogabonnie, I’m so pleased that it’s all behind you.

Yes the DaVinca procedure is really quite amazing and cuts out a lot horrible surgery.

I had my gall bladder out ( huge incision on my right side, and three weeks recovering in hospital) …that was about 18 years ago. Medical procedures have certainly improved since those days.

You still must take things easy and not over do things.

Have a lovely relaxing holiday in Sweden.

Hurray! Glad it went well. I had mine out when I was 25 and they left a huge scar from chest to navel. How things have improved since then x

Hi yogabonnie, so pleased it all went so well and you're off to Sweden soon! 🤣 I had my gallbladder out January 2018, like you, four small incisions and made the decision to take six weeks off work, but now three nearly four years later I can hardly see the little cuts they made. It's marvellous what they can do nowadays. X

Well Done Bonnie 💐Glad it’s done & dusted! Just take it easy with re-introducing fattier foods, I can eat anything now but at first - somethings made be a bit nauseous but it soon settles!

Enjoy your holiday!
