Potassium iodide pre surgery
So I have my op on Friday for TT. The hospital in London called me to ask if I could go to my doc to get a prescription for potassium iodide. I live in Somerset and my pharmacy can’t get hold of it. I’m told it helps with excessive blood flow during surgery. It makes me slightly nervous that this is

Hello ladies and gents. So good to see so many bfps on here lately 😊!! After a polyp removal in the last cycle, I’m now gearing up for my very first transfer in the new year. Can’t believe it’s taken nearly two years just to get this far. But I’m feeling thankful for the chance right now. 5 top-grade

Gall Bladder Removal
Hi all. I have Hashi' s and PA. A recent Gastroscopy revealed stomach erosion and inflammation. I had my gallbladder removed several years ago and wondered if that had any effect on the acid balance in the stomach. Any information please.

Gallstone with gallbladder lesion?
I have stable cirrhosis of liver. The latest ultra sound shows gall stone and lesion in gall bladder. Once in a while I have sharp pain in my right upper abdominal, and a deep, dull ache threw my right shoulder blade into my right back chest area. Dr. said they will address this at my next testing in six

Rib pain Liver fibrosis.
Is it normal to feel pain around your rib cage when you lay down. I had a fibro scan months ago and the reading was 9.9 so fibrosis was evident. I’ve had an ultrasound scan on my abdomen a few weeks ago after being diagnosed with Polycythemia. I’m curious does anyone else on here have the two conditions

Urso not working?
Hi all, I'm newly diagnosed with PBC just a little over 2 months ago. I've had elevated liver enzymes (alk phos) for several months. I started Urso November 7, and just had first labs to check. The alk. phos. level went up by over 25 points!! Has anyone else had this happen? Thanks, Lilygrower

Excessive sweating
Hi Thanks for previous advice on my blood results re Hypothyroidism .. I am now commencing Adrenal support and will enquire about the possibility of commencing T3 alongside my Thyroxine as apparently under-medicated . Another issue I have is excessive sweating.. Don't believe it to be hyperhidrosis
