FEAR!
What do you do when your spouse drinks and is CRUELER than usual and you know you should get away but you fear for the cats, you had hip surgery last summer and still not that strong yet and now agoraphobia returns. Afraid to stay. Afraid to leave. Going to try to go to an Al Anon meeting if I get

Gp has put me on 20mg Norspan patches and I am having acupunture and reflexology as well. Shumbah has suggested applying the sesame oil on troublesome leg....I have started that and will keep you informed....I have only been doing it for a week, but I think it is having some effect. panic disorder
hello all I’m new to this and thought I would give this forum a go and see how living with anxiety affects other people as well as myself as I know a lot of people have these disorders. I would appreciate any advice, feedback and suggestions to help me live a normal life. I wish you all well as I know

serotonin syndrome
I have a mild case of serotin syndrome… done stuff I shouldn’t have but anxiety and depression is creeping back up on me…. The issue is I’m not sure if I’m really disappointed in people or if the syndrome talking … there times where it just easier to get lost in my made up reality then live in funk

Bupropion and insomnia
I recently started the long-acting (24-hour)form of bupropion and it appears to be causing insomnia. I am wondering if taking the SR (12-hour) formulation just once daily in the morning would solve the insomnia problem while still being effective for depression. Does anyone have any experience taking

Link between adhesions and ongoing abdominal pain.
Happy New year to everyone. I wonder if anyone has had a similar experience? .20 years ago after several years of abdominal pain I had a total hysterectomy. They found that my abdomen was full of violin string adhesions. I was great for a short time then I started to have intermittent abdominal pain

Waking up at night. Headache. Ptsd nightmares. Nausea and headache. Overwhelmed
So i told you i randomly wake up at night. Mom said it was because i had rested but i didn't feel like that. She went to work. I started having insane headache and everything was irritating me. I went to sleep. I had really vivid nightmares about dad and his new family (my biggest ptsd trigger) and him

Bunion operation
Hi, I am having a bunion operation and hammer toe correction next week (minimal invasive surgery). I'm currently on 3.75mg prednisone. Should I follow sick day rules, maybe increase to 5mg, or first discuss with surgeon and anaesthetist? Thank for this very helpful forum.

wanting to do this trip
I really want to do this trip. I don’t want my anxiety to keep taking over my life. I did have some zofran on hand but now I’m reading I can’t take that with my Zoloft?

How can you get someone to get help, he is 18 so I can't force him, he is not interested in anything doesn't even said words just nod, no friends, this has been going for the last three years I gave him a break moved with other family members thinking things will change, denies suicidal thoughts or hearing

ADAA Personal Story: Do the Impossible: Healing From Posttraumatic Stress Disorder
"PTSD is an invisible monster. It disguises reality. When I was sucked into what I learned to call the trauma vortex, I often couldn’t distinguish between what was real and what wasn’t. I thought I was going crazy. PTSD told me this over and over again: You’re not safe. You never will be. Being dead
