New blood results - advice on whether to speak to GP?
Good afternoon everyone, I posted back in November (https://healthunlocked.com/thyroiduk/posts/150229278/blood-results-low-ft4-normal-tsh-warrants-gp-review) and received some really helpful advice, so I thought I’d post again for your opinions with some new blood results. Blood test taken at 08:50

Bowel issues and pain.
Hi everyone. I am hoping one of you lovely brave people may be able to help me. Apologies in advance for the long post. I am 21 weeks post total hysterectomy for Adenomyosis, along with extensive excision of DIE endometriosis, and bowel shave. I have previously had a Bilateral Salpingo Oophorectomy

Afib, sleep apnea and diverticulitis from aerophagia
Hi. I have afib and sleep apnea. As you know, some think that sleep apnea may be a causitive factor in afib. I have been using cpap and bipap machines for some years for the apnea, and have a problem of swallowing air (aerophagia). Before the improvements in cpap technology, I would wake up after a

Buprenorphine and Naloxone 2mg/0.5 mg sublingual film
I need help from the members who have taken it or the brand name Suboxone. The oxycodone I have been taking since 2015 has lost effect therefore Doctor B prescribed Buprenorphine and Naloxone for me. The first day I experienced horrendous side effects, severe vertigo, nausea and vomting and anxiety

Hello 👋
Hi, we are all happy to have you in the group and share your insight. There is a very strong genetic component to this. My mom, brother and I all have anxiety and depression. I have been diagnosed with bipolar 2. I've tried ketamine tablets and found it effective but had to stop because it's costly.

GP visit
I have been to see my GP today to talk about the results letter I received which I told you all about. He said it's f4 fibrosis, not cirrhosis, and it is reversible. I'm going to see a fibro nurse next Tuesday, which has been arranged through my drug worker. I'm going to ask all the same questions. I

Hashi's & Menopause/HRT - weight loss help!
Hi all, I have Hashimoto's and have been on levo 75mg with combined HRT (oestrogen patch and progesterone pill) for a few years. Had a total hysterectomy almost 2 years ago, but they left my ovaries, due to extensive endo, adenomyosis and fibroids. But I have literally been stuck in limbo since then

New Year New Bloods! It's time to titrate! Please help!
I made it to 8 weeks. This feels like a long post - I have both Thyroid and Iron issues to work out... I tried to make it shorter, but did not succeed, so here is a 5 bullet summary first.
TL;DR: Got results I didn't quite expect:
- I only changed a wee bit... + 12.5 on the levo

Asking for words of support please
Hi, next week I have a VA eval for PTSD/ Depression increase. I know it’s God’s will whatever the decision, but it causes anxiety, esp. when the person evaluating has no idea of my daily battle with depression/ anxiety. Also, a lot of self blaming/ feeling ashamed. Thank you for listening. Hope you

New here. Have been having lots of anxiety, depression, worry and panic. Dread the mornings. Wake up in a panic. Don't want to be alone. Life is not fun right now. Stomach is in knots when I wake up. Appetite not good. Started taking Lexapro and Buspar. Also have Atarax as needed. What does anyone

Partner out of hospital
Thank you to all the replies I've had on previous posts about my partner. He is now out of hospital but on an awful lot of medication including steroids and tablets that suppress alcohol cravings. He has been diagnosed with Alcoholic Hepatitis for the second time in 2 years. I asked the consultant
