I’m still struggling to get back into running after a month or so of not running.. I had to go back to wk 4 in the 5k even though I had completed the While 5k before my 2 week holiday and 2 week quarantine.!
Wk 4 seems soo hard!! It’s totally wiped me out. I didn’t realised my fitness levels would go down so quickly..
I’m feeling sad that I’ve feel like I’ve lost the motivation.. 🏃♀️ I can’t get up at the crack of dawn to run before work like I did. Then after work I feel too tired..
help!! I don’t know what to do ☹️

I'm also back at Week 4, after a month out, as you'll have read. It's taken me six runs to work back to that level.
Don't forget that Week 4 is when C25K gets serious. The first three weeks are a warm up stroll compared with that week.
The good news is that once your body is back into running mode you're going to find that the second time through C25K will to be easier than the first. You haven't really lost that fitness... it's just been stored away on a high shelf. A little bit of climbing for it and you'll have it back.
Me too back at week 4. Just take your time and build gradually and listen to your body.. We've done it before and we'll do it again. Just takes a little time and patience 👍
I'm glad I am not the only one. After a week away in September (only in the UK) I have struggled to get back into my running routine. I've only managed one run a week over the past 3 weeks (30 min, 30 min, 20 min) and now I am lacking in energy and motivation. I am blaming the weather!
It's expected that your fitness/stamina will have taken a little knock, but it's not massive and you'll certainly get back to where you were 👍
My motivation for getting out in the mornings to do a run. I was really enjoying it before, maybe I’ll start back at wk 1 and begin it all over again 🤷🏼♀️
Instead of doing what everyone suggests and consolidating 30 min runs, I decided to reduce the time to 20 /25 mins to make it more enjoyable. Bad idea. 3 times a week became 2 times, .... 20 mins became 15 then 12.
New graduates are such inexperienced runners in the grand scheme of things that it is hardly surprising that it all went to pot. I just did wk 6, 1 this morning to get back into things. It was tough but all of C25K was hard for me.
I will get my fitness back though. I can’t let all that work go to waste.
