How fast can f2 fibrosis progress f4 cirrhosis?
In 2019, F2
fibrosis
with severe steatosis was diagnosed. Fast-forward to December 2021 and a fibroscan showed F4 cirrhosis. Can the liver degenerate that quickly? Either the initial 2019 assessment was underreporting or the December 2021 fibroscan overestimated is how I'm interpreting this.

Update
She seems pretty confident that the results from from shear wave elastography over estimated my
fibrosis
score to f3. She reviewed my fibrosure and an abdominal ultrasound also . She will re do labs and I will have a fibroscan in office end of May.

Covid and frozen embryo transfer advice please. 🙏
Hello everyone I was hoping to start my first frozen embryo transfer in April on my next cycle. I had Covid just over two weeks ago now and I’m still struggling with symptoms or feeling exhausted, really fuzzy head, breathlessness and a cough. I’m not sure whether I should delay my frozen embryo transfer

Anyone’s lining too thick to start Polygyna tablets?
Hello all! I’ve been preparing for my first DE FET and taking the Synarel spray for 13 days now. Started my period at the weekend and been for my scan today. I was excited to start the tablets but apparently my lining is too thick (7mm and they want 5mm or less). I’ve got to go again on Friday with the

5th attempt - first frozen embryo transfer on 28th March
So the 2WW is with us after our first frozen embryo transfer yesterday. It’s been a mediated cycle and the first one we’ve used blood thinners and steroids. Also on extra progesterone this time so on lubion injections once a day as well as the pessaries 3 times a day. Taking oestrogen 4 times a day also

Covid and NASH
I am in stage 3-4
fibrosis
, so I probably would not be here if I had not. However, I missed the meeting this morning at 10 a.m. with the NASH group. Now I'm really bummed because I had looked so forward to it.

Some good news
My ultrasound did show liver disease but he said we’d have to do a Fibroscan to see the extent of
fibrosis
. He did say we could pop one in as part of the next review if I wanted, but the treatment is the same, so it’s up to me. Abstinence, good diet and exercise.

Myelo fibrosis
Hi I am in the intermediate stage, level 2 of the disease and go onto ruxolitinib tomorrow. I have looked on several forums and never managed to connect with any fellow sufferers from this mpn variant. Can't get any real information on immunosuppression or even what to expect or look for in the future

Ovarian Cancer clinical trial - ACTOv
Hi all, I am a patient representative with UCL and Cancer Research UK, and I am currently involved in the ACTOv trial. They recently received a funding grant for the trial and I thought it would be good to share an article published to give an overview of the trial and what it aims to do. I share this

People of HealthUnlocked - COPD: Preparing for a Double Lung Transplant
Subsequent tests ruled out cystic
fibrosis
and Alpha-1 antitrypsin deficiency. I believe that COPD was noted on my records from this stage. By my mid 20s, I was balancing motherhood and a full-time teaching career. It was hard work, and the term before Christmas was the worst.

Does anyone else think this could sort of work?
Hi my polish friend said this and she could be right tbh (It's all true what you say. Living with an illness means limitations and sacrifices. I don't know, but maybe it would be beneficial to induce menopause to stop the hyperplasia of the endometriosis and the bleeding cycle.) Has anyone else had

Myocarditis and Fibrosis of the heart at 38.
Well today after looking at your images from the MRI i can confirm you have an enlarged left Ventricle and
Fibrosis
on the heart, this is 100% in line with Myocarditis and i am certain this has been due to your vaccine.
