Pneumonia Recovery
Most of the consultants and nurses have remarked on his progress and amazing recovery so far, but one consultant today suggested that he could end up with long-term lung damage/
fibrosis
. She told him he was lucky to escape death and when he responded that "he wasnt going to die now though?"

Just Diagnosed - Dealing with work
I have just been diagnosed with pulmonary
fibrosis
by CT Scan only, still waiting for blood and lung function tests. Question, how have others dealt with work. I find I am very distracted at the moment!

Supplements after EC
Hi all, I've been taking co enzyme q10, omega 3, and pregnacare supplements. I had EC today and just wondering do I now stop taking the Co enzyme q10 and omega 3?? Or should I carry on until embryo transfer....or even keep taking them during the 2ww? Thanks x

F3 to F4
Diagnosed 1-12 yrs ago with F3
fibrosis
. Now up to F4. They used Fibrotest-Actitest both times to diagnose stage of
fibrosis
. I seen mentions on here of numerous diagnostic instruments, but not Fibrotest-Actitest. Does any have any information/experience with this?

Laparoscopy and transfer, to downregulate or not?
I was diagnosed with stage 4 endo after a laparoscopy and they removed all apart from one near my bowel. I have low amh. I have my last cycle in a week and the doctor is suggesting a fresh transfer instead of down regulation. I am so confused on what to do and whether to have a double embryo transfer

Have I got IBS?
I’ve had a CT scan, colonoscopy and endoscopy all of which were clear ( CT scan picked up some scarring on my lungs, awaiting further tests regarding pulmonary
fibrosis
). Biopsies taken and awaiting results. I’m searching for answers as my GP won’t comment until biopsy results are back.

Alcohol related brain injury
She has
fibrosis
of the liver but her fibro scan suggested it was F3 stage. She is 79 years old. Her consultant called me yesterday to say he believes she has alcohol related brain injury, I assume wet brain or Korsakoff syndrome but he didnt give it a name.

Very new and very confused
Hi there. Hubby has been a drinker for years and it appears that it has all caught up with him. He had his 5 year MOT back in August and was prescribed Folate, B12 compound and Thiamine but no info was given during his telephone consultation. About 3 weeks ago, I noticed his eyes were a bit yellowy
