Pulmonary rehab.
I have been diagnosed with Interstitial lung disease (
fibrosis
) as a result of rheumatoid arthritis. I also have Polymyalgia and osteoporosis. Although not one for going to the gym, before I was diagnosed I was relatively fit.

Latest fibroscan
This was because I had the good fortune to speak to a nurse that understood that because the consultant had used 'cusp of cirrhosis' Chinese whispers had transformed advanced
fibrosis
F3/4 into cirrhosis and been put on my medical record.

PBC and also suffering with Pancreatitis
I was recently diagnosed with PBC (November 2022) and also have stage 2 liver
fibrosis
. The dr had prescribed Ursodiol and I had a bad reaction and can no longer take it. Since then, I have been prescribed Ocaliva(Obetecholic acid), has anyone had great results with Ocaliva?

Hi lovelies! Can I get some feedback on the following: 1. Prednisolone; and 2. Neubogen My doctors advised I take these for our next embryo transfer. Anyway had these added to their IVF egg donor protocol: - Any side effects? - Success after use? Thank you! ✨

Fertility and Advanced Fiborsis
with the news that she has liver
fibrosis
at a advanced stage, we wonder if this is the real reason to why she’s not been able to conceive. i pose the question, if we were to go back to medical route and get help with fertility, is the chances of a complete and successful pregnancy rare?

Good news for me…at least I think so.
I got the results of my Liver Biopsy and it revealed mild NASH with stage 1
fibrosis
. I was scared of possible cirrhosis because my fibroscan showed S3/F4. So my biopsy had better news in my opinion. All I really need to do now is eat healthier and exercise.

Worried about liver
Just hoping this is still fatty liver /
Fibrosis
and has not progressed to Cirrhosis, looking for some support and hope from people who might be or have been in a similar situation. I am down to 91KG and continue to eat as healthy as I can and avoid alcohol.

Drug for post radiation fibrosis
Does anyone know anything about pentoxifylline, used to treat in post-radiation
fibrosis
, and it's affect in a patient with liver disease? I don't know why I'm even asking. It can't be OK? Pentoxifylline is supposed to increase blood supply and improve
fibrosis
. Or where to get more information?

Stage 4 Cirrhosis can be compensated?
His
fibrosis
was also stage 4. But liver specialist also says his liver is compensated? How can this be? He has been prescribed lactulose, spirolactone, complex B vitamins. He continues to drink a 12 pack plus whiskey per day.

Transer 1 or 2 Frozen embryo?
Hi All, I’m on my first NHS IVF cycle. unexplained infertility and 33yo. Partner sperm analysis good and no known medical problems with me. From my first retrieval we have 3 day 5 blastocyst all of good grades. I had 1 fresh embryo transfer resulting in a BFN and today I’ve had my follow up consultation

MPN-U or MPN Unclassifiable
I have mild
fibrosis
with low symptom burden, but in addition to Jak2, I have three other Tier 1 mutations. Only take 500mg of Hydroxy four times a week now. Lately, blood counts are dropping, and I may eventually be tapering back on Hydrox and switching to MF-type drugs.
