I contracted Hepatitis A in 2020, undiagnosed for 2 months. Six months later I was told I had NALD and last year I was sent for ultrasound scans and blood tests to check for cancer. In March this year, I was told I had Stage 4 Fibrosis of the liver. Does anyone know if this can be reversed, any treatments I should be having and/or any supplements that can help? many thanks

Stage 4 fibrosis of the Liver
If you have stage 4 fibrosis this is cirrhosis and the protocol for monitoring cirrhosis is 6 monthly scans, 6 monthly bloods.
Once fibrosis has reached cirrhosis stage it is generally thought to be irreversible but people can and do make significant improvements to their liver health by tackling what has caused the damage in the first place. So if you have underlying Non Alcohol Related Fatty Liver Disease it is important to try to get on top of that and the BLT has some very good resources to help with that. britishlivertrust.org.uk/in...
There is information too about cirrhosis at:- britishlivertrust.org.uk/in...
There are no miracle cures in the form of supplements, it's a case of getting on top of the cause of the liver damage and doing all you can to look after the liver going forwards. Some of these 'remedies' that suggest they may help cure the liver can actually be harmful so are best avoided.
Best wishes,
