Hi diagnosed in January with liver cirrhosis . Never drunk alcohol, kpa 14 .. since the fibrosis in January i have had constant pain in and around my rib cage on the right side.. had x rays and physio with no improvement... my question is... Could this be capsular pain ive heard of on this forum ? What is capsular pain? Does it go away ? I've lost 4 stone following a meddteraenian diet and no processed food.

Hi, I'm curious as to what caused your cirrhosis? Genetic Haemochromatosis (Iron Overload) can cause cirrhosis. It's a diagnosis that sometimes get's missed and some people with it do mention right sided abdominal pain.

Had loads of blood tests..no reason given for diagnosis.. only had this pain since the fibroscan .. dr thinks its some sort of grandaddy to ruin cashew but x ray and physio can't find anything.. its really debilitating .. cant sit for long.. excercise .. wish it would go away
