Amlodipine
I have recently had my hysterectomy cancelled because of high blood pressure, and I've been prescribed Amlodipine to bring it down so I can have the surgery, which I desperately need because of severe prolapse. My full-body RLS has been controlled for many years by Dihydrocodiene, but since taking Amlodipine

Felodopine
Is anyone on Felodopine (2.5mg) this and bisoprolol (10mg)? I'm on both and ramipril (10mg)@ I feel ill, lethargic, dizzy, sick and had a pounding headache every day since taking these meds. My HR is now low but BP fluctuations. Anyone got any advice?

Ramipril and Ejection Fraction
After recent MRI, EP said he was happy with what he saw apart from the fact that my ejection fraction from left ventricle was 44. After follow up appointment I’ve been advised that this is classified as “low/normal”. So he’s put me on waiting list for Ablation as he feels this maybe beneficial but ultimately

Itching side effect to heart meds?
Good morning all, I take Apixaban, Atorvastatin, Bisoprol, Ramipril and Spironolactone. The itching on my back is driving me mad, I've put up with it for a while but it's got worse recently. I didn't get this until i'd been taking the meds for some time but assume it must be a side effect of one or more

Water Tablets
Amlodipine make my legs swell so doc has given me water tablets. Can anyone tell me if I take one in the morning how long I will need to keep visiting the loo, ie when would it be safe to go out without fear of needing a loo.

Ramipril
Hi, I’m new to this group. Apologies if posting on incorrect site. Out of the blue I had a hypertensive crisis in March with diastolic exceeding 133 with symptoms of a heart attack. Always had good health no issues. I do have bilateral duplex kidneys. I’m currently having loads of tests but no one

Ramipril cough
My surgeon took me off Ramipril because of the cough I had developed. How long should I expect it to take for the cough to go? I’m finding it to be a real setback after a good initial recovery from AVR 10 weeks ago. I’m getting very little sleep and the coughing zaps my energy. Apart from the above

Abandoned!
Well, finally had my 13/2 appointment with EP yesterday and as I don’t want an ablation I have been virtually abandoned. Was told I had tried all the tablets! Can’t take Flecainide it makes symptoms worse and been changed from Bisoprolol to Felodipine and now on Nebivolol. Keep taking the Nebivolol

Gum problems & Amlodipine
Hi, my gums have been swelling and bleeding for a few months so I went to the dentist and she’s diagnosed Gingival hyperplasia. She asked all about my heart condition and medication. As soon as I mentioned Amlodipine, which Ive been on for 4 months, she said this was a common side effect. Im wondering

Postcard from Como!
I haven't been very active on here for a while but thought I'd say 'hello' with this photo of our "room with a view" which I took yesterday when the sun was shining. Making the most of seeing beautiful places while we still can ... my medication makes me a bad traveler, my normally slim ankles are unbelievably
