Not only did I have my meds increased by my cardiologist before Christmas and Dapa added, I now following a blood pressure test have Amlodipine added to my cocktail of drugs and have bought a BP tester from Amazon!
What with all the others I take I must rattle! So thats 8 tablets daily plus Asthma inhalers! Oh the joys of advancing years!
Does anyone find becoming a little short tempered with all these drugs or is it just me being an old misery!

I am on 7 a day, so not far behind! My grandfather had 2 heart attacks in the early 1950s, I believe he was just sent to bed to rest, couldn't do much for him in those days. He was dead at 53, so I never got to meet him. I had a heart attack at 49, but these things can be treated nowadays. I just feel glad that we are not in the 1950s now.
Hi geoff. It's funny isn't it? We know we need them, we're grateful they help us, but each week I fill up the dosette box I always feel a little bit down and resentful. The feeling passes quickly, but I never quite manage to avoid it. With best wishes x
It’s funny isn’t it. We’d never get grumpy with a doctor or nurse who was keeping us alive and comfortable but we rail against drugs that do exactly that.
Yes it's a worry about what these drugs are doing to your body as well as supposedly keeping you alive. I was on Amlodopine and had lower leg ulcers from them so they don't suit everyone. A friend of mine has a lot of health problems and is on 30 tablets a day. Take care and hope you keep well. Brian
