At a dead end with GP, where to go from here?
I still have symptoms of
fatigue
, constipation and I cannot lose any weight no matter what, I’ve been gluten free and this hasn’t helped. I requested an increase in the levothyroxine which the doctors refused as they say my levels are now good, and instead offered me a prescription for laxatives.

Fever for 5 weeks (viral meningitis)
I've been bedridden for five weeks now, with almost no symptoms left since a week except extreme
fatigue
and fever. I'm particularly concerned about the fever and can't determine if it's a normal part of the recovery or if it poses a danger.

Elevated Vitamin A in serum with no supplements
In terms of Vitamin A toxicity symptoms - I've had abdominal pain , nausea,
fatigue
- but this is impossible to separate from my abdominal surgeries (4 in 2 years!) and also MTX.

new diagnosis
My symptoms are horrific, if it’s not constant physical pain it’s horrendous
fatigue
along with the most annoying brain fog. The list is endless! I have an appointment with the endometriosis clinic in December, but just wondered if anyone knows what next steps are?

Thyroid Test results
He has been diagnosed with chronic
fatigue
syndrome for 10 plus years and there is a history in his family of thyroid problems. We are trying to get a clearer picture of any underlying health issues as well as to identify nutrition and supplement needs.

12 days since upping Pred . Now on 20mg and still hurting with PMR symptoms
I`ve done 7 days now and symptoms are still strong with some sort of pain all the time together with
fatigue
. Any advice please? do I just drop back to 15mg and be prepared that PMR is going to get worse possibly ? He has made me an first appointment with RHeumy at last .

Help with how to proceed
The result though, was I became very unwell with
fatigue
and muscle pain, black circles under eyes and inability to excercise in any way other than very short walks. I have since raised the eltroxin back to 125.

Anyone taking Anagrelide w/ ET+CALR?
My platelets are in the millions so we are giving Pegasys another try but I'm dealing with some unpleasant side effects (already) and it's only been two weeks (dizziness, headaches, brain fog,
fatigue
, shortness of breath, irritability).

Post Operative Steroids
I began to wonder, last night, about Prednisolone as the
fatigue
is amazing. The question is should I increase the dose (I am currently on 6mg) or leave it where it is and wait for things to calm down? I can increase for a couple of weeks and drop back, I suppose.

Help with Medicheck results
I am determined to get to the bottom of my
fatigue
as it isn’t me and is really starting to get me down. So, I have had the Medicheck test above which will be forwarded to my GP before my telephone consultation on Wednesday. Any comments and advice will be gratefully received.
