Keswick Parkrun helping and hamstring progress
My 94 yo running friend is also off with plantar
fasciitis
, but he walked the 5Km. (AlMorr will want to know) Hamstring is much improved, RICE at the beginning helped, and I am now into short (3Km) walks, but quite slow - any attempt to push the pace and the pain is there.

Endocrinologist insist that my blood work shows thyrotoxicosis. Please take a look.
D drops, good quality B complex, selenium, vitamin C, vitamin B12, I’m on house arrest ( can’t even leave my house to walk for 5 minutes due to severe plantar
fasciitis
, and bone spurs.

Thyroid levels / cholesterol link
I realise that I’m still ‘within range’ but I feel really lethargic, exhausted all the time, always hungry too, crave sweet stuff, get repeated sinusitis - that stopped when my thyroid was being treated but has started again, I have put on a couple of stones over the past year, get plantar

The invisible disease
But my hands are worsening and I have plantar
fasciitis
in my left foot having finally gotten rid of it in my right. Seriously I have no self pity, I know my days working in this huge but beautiful (commercial) garden are numbered...

Nearly there.
Wk9 started and my first 30 minute run, somehow never started my Strava app to get any stats which is a bit annoying but 2 more runs till graduation, hopefully will stay injury free this week as I had plantar
fasciitis
problem last week, something I’ve had trouble with for years even before I started

My GP just bangs on and on about my tests being within the acceptable range but most days I feel as bad as I did before I was diagnosed.
Now six year on I am 3 stone overweight, have very bad carpal tunnel, newly developed plantar
fasciitis
, no self esteem, brain fog and awful depression no to mention the most terrible mood swings.

I suffered a bit with plantar
fasciitis
(those trainers!), but changed them for a slightly more appropriate pair and soldiered on, even doing W7 and W8 in Bavaria and the rest in the heatwave here last summer.

Healing Achilles Tendonosis
The podiatrist claims it is similarly effective for plantar
fasciitis
, which can also be caused by steroid medication. I hope this is helpful for any other members who are suffering from this painful ailment--And who do not get relief from standard treatment protocols.

Plantar fasciitis
I'm gutted I've been diagnosed as having plantar
fasciitis
. The doctor told me not to stop the C25K but go back a few weeks and build up even more slowly. Any advice or top tips from any PF sufferers?

Getting there! Little help needed please!?
So 6 months ago I had a torn rotator cuff and plantar
fasciitis
in both feet, I hadn’t been able to exercise properly in months and was at an all time low. I honestly felt doomed! My mental health suffered and I was in a dark place.

Aches and pains after exercise
I try to keep active, I do Pilates, aqua fit and love gardening and walking but suffer from painful aches and pains, plantar
fasciitis
. I am on 100mg Levothyroxine. Have been told in the past that I may be over medicated?

Plantar Faciitis
Using google I think it’s plantar
fasciitis
and as soon as I started doing stretches the sharp pain went away and I haven’t experienced it but when I do a 40min walk My foot tends to ache but not in a sharp way if that makes sense. Up this time I had been using a standard pair of trainers.

Suggestions for relief from plantar
fasciitis
would be very much appreciated guys. Can’t believe my luck... finally got relief from pain in my knee and now both heels are excruciating. I’ve tried massage and exercise (physio), tennis ball, Powergel 2.5% and frozen peas.

Knee and hip pain C25k
I have proper running shoes with insoles from podiatrist (that I got for plantar
fasciitis
) I stretch out when finished. I’m devastated because I don’t know what is causing this. When I ice it it definitely reduces the pain. Don’t want to give up before I’ve even started. Any suggestion?

My calf & foot still hurt with the plantar
fasciitis
some way through - but it’s always sore anyway whether I run or not ...I’m honestly stunned at how well it went - must be a mixture of getting fitter, and drinking more.
