OTD is tomorrow and I am a nervous wreck!
I'll be 14DP5DT tomorrow and I'm testing in the morning (arghhhh help!). My actual test day by the clinic is Saturday but they are closed so I wanted to test when they are open just in case I needed them. I don't really know what I'm looking for, I guess abit of reassurance! This is my third transfer

Clear Laparoscopy
Hi All, Hope you don’t mind me asking so many questions in one post but here I go 🙏🏻 I had my first laparoscopy on the NHS last Thursday (exactly a week ago at the time of writing this) and it found no endometriosis at all, my dye test came back clear, normal uterus, normal ovaries so I’m baffled

Ashermans, thin lining, low ovarian reserve, poor responder.. trying ivf one last time with donor sperm for possible surrogacy if lucky
After many years of having a Mirena coil for heavy periods, my then partner and I decided to start to try for a baby. I thought it was strange that when I had the coil out my periods remained just as light as when I had it in. I decided to do some hormone tests, and discovered I had a high prolactin

Update on oestrogen treatment for non absorption of liothyronine. A warning!
In November last year, I started seeing an endo privately for my hypo problems. He told me he was an expert. He was very definite that my hypo symptoms were due to me not absorbing liothyronine as I should. He was very definite that the cause of this was my having lost too much oestrogen when I went

Ashermans syndrome, endometrium 2.5mm, poor responder, trying ICSI one last time for surrogacy
Hi everyone, I’ve started a short protocol this week 450 Ovaleap to combine with Menopur from day 8 to try and get a blastocyst to freeze for potential surrogacy After many years of having a Mirena coil for heavy periods, my then partner and I decided to start to try for a baby. I thought it was strange

High ALP after tE2 failure
Interesting. After about 3 months of high-dose estradiol patches, I got my E2 up to 487. But my T only fell to 64. What gives? I was pretty confident after the first month, when only got to T of 187 on 4 patches 2x weekly, that a 50% increase to 6 patches would do the trick... but on the elevated dose

There didn't seem to be anymore, this morning again very very slight tinge of brown but now

Blood Test results - interpretation please
Hi all Ive just had female hormone panel done - am I reading this wrong or are my oestrogen levels off the scale? I am perimenopausal but currently using Utrogestan and supplementing with Menofriend which contains phytoestrogens? It has me really concerned. Thanks in advance Proteins SHBG 51 nmol

Unable to get out of hypothyroid state no matter what!
i have quite the story. In 2018 I (mistakingly, I didn’t know how to properly lose weight then) crash dieted and dropped a ton of weight over a year. Because of this seriously extended caloric restriction, my body really got upset. I became hypothyroid with a low Total T3, low Free T4, but still a normal

Any IVF cycle buddies?
Hi lovelies Logging back into this forum after a break from IVF for nine months it it so lovely to read so many success stories and gives me hope! Earlier this week we began our next IVF cycle. This one is a bit of a milestone for us as we think it will be our last cycle with my eggs before we move

K I S S, yes trying to keep it simple. A Lupron vacation after 2 yrs on & Abiraterone(250mg) & Prednisone 5mg? Yes or no?
Well, discussions with my med oncologist June 3rd did entail the possibility of stopping my Lupron 90 day injections this Sept. Notice I said possibility. 1. I've had two successful CT scans of my abdomen/Pelvis this year(primarily to detect my severe diverticulitis) both scans showed no 'cancer lesion

Anyone experienced perimenopause with endometriosis?
Hi everyone. I’m 44 and I’ve already mentioned in previous posts that I had a hysterectomy 4 years ago (everything removed apart from 1 ovary). As well as having adhesions I’m pretty sure my endo has returned as my pain has got worse and my bowel symptoms have returned. I also think I’m going through

Hypothyroid symptoms
Hello. This is my first post here, I have had nearly all the generally listed symptoms of hypothyroidism for years. I gave up alcohol two months ago and since then all my symptoms have got noticeably worse. I'm wondering if I was really self medicating with the alcohol? Perhaps numbing some symptoms

Viagra at 31
Hi guys it's been a while, I've start experiencing ED since April last year, I've taken a course of Cialis for 2 months but I took a pill every second day, took a testosterone injection once a month and stopped smoking. All that went well and my sex life with the wife was on par again, like 4 to 5 times

Optimal testing regimen
With a PCa with aggressive features (GS9,low-PSA,intraductal,BRCA2+) apparently senescent for the time being, I need an aggressive monitoring regimen. Shortly meeting a doctor at an oncology department, I will as the most important tests ask for the following four, preferably every two months (CTC

Muscle mass vs prostate cancer mortality
From this NIH study of 2,000 PCa patients who had RP, the 10-year overall survival stats for men with a psoas muscle mass in the top quartile (psoas goes from spine to femur) is approximately 90%. Cancer-specific survival is about 98%. From non-referenced studies and stats, the average age at diagnosis
