Is my Testosterone high?
Have been on ADT for 25 months. (Lupron 6 mon shots, Abiraterone, & prednisone) Was switched to Eligard on Monday. Bloodwork Monday showed PSA undetectable and testosterone at 51 ng/dL. Is the testosterone high for being on ADT??

On Treatment-Emergent PC Cellular Senescence: A Catch-22
Tall_Allen's great post updating PEACE1 results brought attention to the problem of treatment emergent cellular senescence in cancer: That chemotherapy and ADT may induce PC cell populations into the non-dividing yet still-alive senescent state. This may appear as early favorable response to treatment

After 40 months of successful ADT using transdermal estradiol gel (tE2) my ONLY side effect is a bit of gynecomastia. I took this pic today and I'm not embarrassed to wear pullover shirts.

Testosterone Cycling (BAT) provides enhancement of body composition and QOL
Introducing testosterone replacement or therapy for advanced PC patients is a tricky and risky undertaking. This has been much discussed in this forum. Perhaps it has a place for some specific men with mCRPC who become unresponsive to other treatments and are willing to risk accelerating their cancer

Next stage of treatment
Next week I will progress to the second stage of treatment following initial diagnosis in February with PSA at 64 and thee mets (two small). Hormone treatment (zoladex and xtandi) have brought PSA down to 0.04 and testosterone to undetectable. So on Tuesday I will have the first weekly radiation treatment

What is normal testosterone level one month after Eligard injection?
On August 9, I received my first Eligard injection. So far I have not noticed any side effects other than some minor edema. Yesterday, September 13, I had blood work done. I was very pleased to see PSA had dropped from 6.41 to 0.05. But later in the evening I got the results of testosterone levels, Testosterone

Potential epilepsy/undiagnosed
Hi all, just wondered if anybody here has experienced similar to me. I haven’t been diagnosed with epilepsy but I suspect I may have it. I’m a 23 year old female, and since 2017 I have been experiencing migraines with aura but I’ve never had a painful migraine after or if I do it’s less than an hour

Testosterone and PD
I have learned many helpful things on this forum, so in the hope that it will prove helpful to others I thought I would share my positive experience with testosterone replacement therapy (TRT). Obviously, TRT is relevant primarily to male PWPs and their caregivers, but there may be equivalent hormone

Over four years of Dad's blood test results
I have been routinely posting to update my Dad’s blood test results since his diagnosis with aPC in 2017, and so now do so again with results from 2021. He is in the UK and he was diagnosed in July/Aug 2017, had 6 rounds of docetaxel in the Autumn of 2017 and has been on the STAMPEDE PATCH trial for

How do you regulate dosage of the Estradiol patch?
After 4 weeks with the Estradiol Vivelle-Dot (delivers 0.05 mg/day), my E2 reading was 43 - which is a lot higher than I want it. 12-30 is the range. I did not have a baseline E2 test before applying the patch, but assume after 3 years of ADT, it would have been pretty low. Does anyone have some

Well...on the Day After my first Chemo with Cabazitaxel...1/2 dosage every 3 weeks. I felt GREAT yesterday after it...
and today I had to go back for a platelet transfusion...as they had dropped to 18. My Neulasta Onpro went off at 6 pm tonight...and even then...(I'm taking Claritin) I am still feeling great all day. I do have incredible dry mouth and my taste is off. I tried sucking on ice a little. I also put ice

High Testosterone Therapy or BAT? Any Experiences??
Has anyone had High Testosterone Therapy? Or BAT? My husband has been through all available therapies available to us in the US and Lutetium177/Actinium225 (4) cycles in Germany. It seems the German therapy is not working any longer- his PSA is climbing (383) and his local oncologist has him now on

Testosterone Recovery During Intermittent ADT
It appears well established now that, in general for APC, intermittent ADT (IADT), or "taking breaks" from ADT drugs is "not inferior" to continuous androgen deprivation (CADT). https://pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/26378418/ And protocols for the timing of starting and stopping such ADT breaks are being

Low T - Good, Bad, or Indifferent?
It has been a year since my last 6 month Eligard shot. PSA is undetectable as of blood test on Friday. My Testosterone is <3 as it has been for the last 6 months. Will my T recover and if it doesn't, is this a bad thing?
