On August 9, I received my first Eligard injection. So far I have not noticed any side effects other than some minor edema. Yesterday, September 13, I had blood work done. I was very pleased to see PSA had dropped from 6.41 to 0.05. But later in the evening I got the results of testosterone levels, Testosterone went from 469 a month ago, to 805 mg/dL now, calculated free testosterone went from 43.0 to 125 pg/mL. I expected to see testosterone levels drop. So my question is whether this is normal to see level go up at first?
