Hi, I am receiving my FET medication today as we are planning our first FET cycle in September to try for a second child. Due to work commitments and planning my annual leave, I am quite nervous about the timing of the treatment and when I can expect to attend hospital (Guys London) for the scan and transfer procedure. The consultant has suggested I will be invited in for a first scan 2-3 weeks from starting oestradiol on the first day of my cycle. In your experience, is it common to be scanned after 2 weeks or is that quite early for the lining to be thick enough? Many thanks.

I was scanned day 6, day 10 and we had a scan on the morning of transfer. Thankfully all went ahead. I worked within. A school and I didn’t want them to know, so I rang in sick first scan, said outpatients appointment week after and a procedure on transfer day. I actually got signed off sick for the 2 week wait, so I could mentally relax and not stand all day at work. Baby dust to you xx
Thanks for your reply! I really appreciate it!
I’m not very good with the uncertainty and find it difficult when I don’t know the exact timing of things! X
