Sitting here in a waiting room at Kings College Hospital waiting for my 3 yearly endoscopic examination for my Liver Cirrhosis and wondering if it will be a lucky or unlucky day. What is everyone doing on this day?
Best of luck with what ever you are doing today

I went for an appointment today, a follow up appointment because a month ago I developed a foot ulcer.
I was really fed up about it as this is on the ball of my foot and gave me a lot of trouble pre transplant.
Anyway It cleared up nicely in time for transplant (or transplant wouldn't have gone ahead) and it's been no trouble post transplant, until a month ago.
I also had a lot of other problems a month or so ago that cleared up after they reduced my Tacrolimus down to 2mg .
The site of my ulcer is obviously a weak point and it was compromised and not healing because the level of Tac that I was taking was lowering my immune system too much.
Well today I was told that the ulcer has healed completely, they will see me in 5 weeks time and if all is well I will be discharged from the podiatry clinic.
I think yesterday should have been Friday 13th!! I felt something coming from my ear, blood was coming out!! It turned out to be just a spot!! Lots if dried blood in it now!! Went the other day, my other ear was inflamed!!! I've gone a but deaf, this happens to Dave sometimes but his is selective hearing like most men!!! 😏

Oh Lynne
I do hope your ear infection is now almost over as you could do with some peace from it all !
Mine's still with me as I still have a croaky throat with a blummin cold sore or spot up my nose! Hey ho to seeing the doc again if it does'nt take a flying jump soon as you know I've had it for weeks ! 😩
Hello! I had the same yesterday although not as part of a check up but to have bands fitted. I got the bands done and everything looked normal so i'd call that a lucky day.
