Diet during treatment
I'm positive for intrinsic factor blocking antibody, and we're confirming whether I have PA with an
endoscopy
in the next weeks. My question: What should my diet be at this point? Balanced diet? Iron-rich diet?

I’ve had an
endoscopy
which showed gastritis. Clear catscan (abd and pelvic). Well, the catscan said “unremarkable” liver. Whatever that means. Basically I’m writing bc even though I have all these ok results I’m still freaking out.

Can you ever be compensated again if you have varices ?
I know I must be in the decompensated category as I had 3 varices show up on
endoscopy
- no bleeding so not banded but started on Carvedilol. I suppose my question is am I permanently decompensated ?

Stem cell transplant for Myelofibrosis
I eventually had an ultrasound
endoscopy
(my 15th
endoscopy
in all) and after 11 days in hospital was discharged. From that point my recovery has gone pretty well and I am now day 107 post transplant.

Has anyone's child had an endoscopy or scan?
On our last appointment, I got them to agree to give her an abdomen scan and an
endoscopy
. I'm really worried that they may find something nasty - but at the same time I'm worried it won't show anything at all and we'll be no further forward than we were 3 years ago.

Laryngeal hypersensitivity
My wife has been told for the last 63 years that she had cough variant asthma. Over the last 5/6 years this has got a lot worse & was referred to the royal Brompton hospital about 2 years a go. After changing inhalers & trying various nose drops & omoprozole things didn't get any better. Earler this

Does Anyone Have Expanded Bile Ducts?
According to my last several imaging tests I have an expanded bile duct. Is this normal for the disease? I am scheduled for an endoscopic ultrasound in a few weeks to take a better look at it. Does anyone have any experience with this? Is there any thing they can do for it? Or are we just spending

Stomach problems
Hi, I've started to SI once a week about 3,5 months ago. I went downhill very fast (existing symptoms getting worse) after our move to Singapore. Somehow, my body can't deal with the climate and I get joint/muscles aches/inflammation all over my body and my knees get very tired very quick. But I think

Postponed for now
We did an
endoscopy
that turned up clean and normal. But his RBC has continued to drop. He got 2 full bags of condensed RBCs for a transfusion cause he was down to heart attack levels. For now he is improving; he’s not as tired, heart beat has gone back to normal.

Question of possible reversal or continued healing
Alcohol was determined the cause and was immediately removed-actually before the
endoscopy
was preformed as I felt pretty ill. My labs normalized within 4 months and I was put on Xifaxan and Nadalol. I have now been symptom free for almost 2 years and honestly feel great.

More bad news "Hiatus Hernia"
Hi everyone, yesterday I had an endoscope shoved down my gut to see why I was regergating my food and yup hiatus hernia. Cant say I'm happy about it but at least its been diagnosed as I have been getting acid reflux on and off for over 30 years. This has stopped since eating a plant based diet but if

Silent Reflux after Lung Surgery for Early Cancer
I've had an
endoscopy
that found only mild gastritis. I take Esomeprazole daily and Gaviscon Advance but still have the symptoms ie rasping breathing, sometimes becoming breathless, cough, sore throat, very occasional heartburn.

Silent Reflux, or maybe not??
I have had 3 visits to an ear nose and throat clinic and had the camera up my nose and into my throat plus an
endoscopy
to look further down all the tests showed nothing remarkable. so, the doctors diagnosed me with Silent reflux and told me to take 15 mg lansoprozil and gaviscon advanced as and when
