Endoscopy
Hi, my hubby is newly diagnosed with decompensated cirrhosis, he had ascites in legs and abdomen a few weeks ago which has now gone. He had an endoscopy today which showed no sign of cancer or varices. However may I ask a few questions. His tummy still seems a little bloated from the endoscopy, how do

Has this happened to anyone ?
I figured I’d post on here to maybe ease my mind . Back in 2020 I start having blood in my stool . They sent me for an emergency colonoscopy and endoscopy. Which both came back negative but I was positive for “microscopic colitis “ and hemorrhoids. Here the bleeding wouldn’t stop it consistently went

Only GGT elevated ?
My Ggt has come down to 100 from 179(had two glasses of red wine night before test, didnt know they were going to do my ggt level) all other blood work within range, except kidney function was a little off. endoscopic ultra sound showed no liver damage, three other ultrasounds, MRI, regular endoscopy

Acidity flare ups
I have been suffering from acidity since June 2020. Had endoscopy done in October 20 which came back all clear expect for h pylori infection. Did the triple therapy treatment for this. I have tested negative (stool test) 3 times in the last 1 year. So hopefully that is cleared. Last year I also did ultrasound

Struggling today
Hi all, Had an endoscopy today as I have been having more and more issues with getting food stuck ( I have limited scleroderma). They couldn’t get a vein so had to have one without sedation and it was horrible. I know people with this awful disease go through a lot worse but it’s really set me back

Husband in intensive care
I only joined this site about a month ago. My husband was gradually becoming unwell over a period of months last year. Trying to seek help from GP was very frustrating and also not being seen physically due to restrictions, anyway this resulted in him being admitted to hospital in late November as bloods

Help with my friends symptoms.
Hi. My friend has the following symptoms. I wondered if it may be Sjogrens. The symptoms come and go and are made worse by stress. Dry eyes (needed to use eye drops in the past ) dry mouth and sore lips periodically (saw a consultant and offered a biopsy but didn’t want to go head due to possible scarring

Husband recently diagnosed with decompensated cirrosis of the liver
Hi, Im new to this forum, and hoping for some support as I feel a little lost! My husband was admitted to hospital at the beginning of December 2021 with gross asceties and jaundice. It was a battle to get him to even see a Dr and I had to lock him in the house and force him to get help, as he was dying

Stomach and right rib pain?
Hi everyone! I'm pretty new here. This is only my second post. My liver enzymes spiked about 4 years ago, AST 80 and ALT 120 for about 2 months and then went back to normal. Doctors thought due to stress and maybe the Voltaren I was on for hip inflammation. Since then, I have had all sorts of tests
