I have liver disease and cirrhosis. I am male aged 68. I have put on a lot of weight in the past 6 months. My GP has told me to lose weight. In the past I have used Weight Watchers when I lost some weight. The recent one was with Noom when I lost a bit of weight. However the loss plataeud and I began to increase my weight again.I don't know what to do as my health is changed. I have become incontinent and wear pads. I also have adult acne mainly in scalp and neck. Additionally I have a kind of stomach reflux irregularly. Been to see GP prescribed Fesoterodine 4 mg. Had an endoscopy in September nothing showed. Can you please advise me.?

I feel you need to present at your GP and seriously tell them you want help to turn your life around . With complex and multiple health conditions you need a dietitian, professional physio and sensible planned exercise , combined with this your medication needs maybe quarterly assessment as you improve and the concerns about your skin - a dermatologist. The more you stick to this then first hand - the more you get the help . The medical profession are only human but they get such a buzz from a success story. Why can’t you be it ?
