Hawthorn supplement helped
I have had paroxysmal AF for several years, but episodes were getting more frequent and lasting longer in the past year. I am a 53 yo female, slim build, never smoked, in good health otherwise. My mom had AF (tachycardia) for 40 yrs and my brother has V tach, so it's very much genetic. I saw the cardiologist

Increased Fibrosis. ET Progression ?
Hi All, I have read a lot of posts. This is my first time posting. I'm a 46yr/male and was diagnosed in May of 2023 with ET Jak2+ at age 45. I had ignored symptoms for a few years... headaches, visual disturbances, shortness of breathe, crashes that felt like low blood sugar, and soooo tired. I thought

Hi everyone,Diagnosed in 2021. PV venesections and asprin current treatment. Yesterday I had an "event" that is worrying me. Triple Positive, High Titres, no event yet. Prevention?
Hi all - On the one hand, I feel very fortunate to know that I have the APL antibodies (just tested as persistent at 12 weeks) before anything dire has happened! On the other hand, being triple-positive at high levels and with bad chronic migraine including stroke-like symptoms makes me feel that I

Anyone with experience of taking Dipyridamole and Aspirin together ?
After a vasovagal syncope in Feb.2024 I was sent for brain MRI scan. And a ECG .The result was scar evidence of a small stroke on left side of my head. The ECG was clear. My blood pressure was back to normal around 132/72. I was put on Candestarten clexitel 8 mg daily , atorvastatin 20 mg and Clopidogrel

Any help with a breathing diagnosis really appreciated.
Hello all, love this forum, it’s been so incredibly helpful to me! ❤️ I am a 48 year old man. I am fit and healthy (well I thought I was!) 5 months ago, (March 2024) after some chest pain whilst running, I got diagnosed with coronary artery disease in my LAD and I was booked in for a stent fitting.

Leg cramps
I drink a lot of Matcha tea with honey, also squash. One coffee breakfast but I still get cramp. My feet feel as they try to curl under, legs then feel heavy and cramp up to my hips. Last night both went very quickly and getting out of bed was very painful. Standing and trying to walk was laughable.

Can anyone explain
Hi,On Tuesday of this week I was out with my husband having a relaxing drive to the beach. I began to feel uncomfortable. I had a pain in the middle of my stomach above my belly button. My ribcage felt like it was being crushed. I had to undo my bra to try and relieve some of the pressure. We stopped

Allele Burden -- Polycythemia Vera
Can someone please explain what is the Allele Burden ? Should I be having a regular measurement, by means of a blood test ,to monitor the progress of the disease? What would be the normal range? I was diagnosed with PV in May 2024 had two venesections then a platelet crash ( down to 7) after 10 days

Newly diagnosed and trying to process what happens next...
Hi all In October last year I had a bout of light headedness and palpitations. It all cleared up after a couple of days, but was placed on a low dose of beta blockers and had subsequent investigations. Yesterday I received a copy letter explaining that I have been diagnosed with Coronary Artery Disease

Great progress on Pegasys!
I’ve been on Pegasys for 16 months. When I started, my JAK-2 Allele burden was 29%. Today it is 14%! I was one of the folks who needed a higher dose of Peg to respond. Over 7 months, my dose was gradually increased, and I didn’t see a response until I was at 180mg/week. My blood work is now 100%

Fet ultrasounds and checkup?
Hi ladies I've started my period abd alerted my clinic to prep for my last transfer that is a 3 day blast. I started estradiol 2/day (6mg) and am also doing an immune protocol with 10mg prednisone and 150mg baby aspirin. They advised me to come in for an ultrasound at cd14 to check lining but that
