baby aspirin
Diagnosed with APS in 2017. Went to see a cardiologist for the first time yesterday and he would like me to go on a baby aspirin along with the warfarin I take ( 5 mgs per day) and said to ask my Hemotologist if that was okay..Just wondering how many others are taking a baby aspirin in conjunction

I'm not going nuts!
I need advice on what I should do and hope someone can help. I was at a dr's appointment a few weeks ago where they left my notes up. It was set on the blood test section and I saw that I'd been tested for rheumatology factor (once) and anti-dna (3-4 times). The dr was going through them and they were

Annual bood tests post MI
Hi, I had an MI 9 years ago and stents fitted, and have been taking the usual meds. ever since - aspirin, Ramipril, Bisoprolol and Atorvastatin. I went for my annual blood tests earlier this week and today looked for my results on the NHS app - no cholesterol results. I’ve asked if they just take longer

Hi all, I have recently been told I have Angina and am waiting for an angiogram. I have been prescribed Atorvastatin 40 mg, aspirin 75mg and been given a nitrolingual spray to use when needed. Hello everyone,I'll be intervened on April 22 of strabismus, to correct a previous surgery of orbit decompression due to Thyroid Eye Disease. For this new surgery the doctor will use 16 mg. of Dexamethasone IV to prevent eye inflamnation. I have a diagnosis of Double APS since 2007, with no thrombosis

Could hibernating bears help with MPNs?
Just came across this article in ScienceNews
Hibernating bears don’t get blood clots. Now scientists know why.
[i]Heat shock protein 47, or HSP47, is normally found in the cells that make up connective tissues like bone and cartilage. It’s also found in platelets, where HSP47 attaches

Hematocrit question
Currently Hematocrit is 43.1, Hbg 12.4. Am going on a trip so won’t have access to phlebotomy for over 3 weeks & don’t want to go over 45 especially while being on a long flight. Asked my Dr & she approved it Wondering if there would be any concern if the phlebotomy would lower my hematocrit to 41 or

A bleed post positive test 🤯
Third transfer following ERA. Thrown everything at this round - glue, scratch, probiotics, blood thinning injections, aspirin…… 10dp5dt we got a really faint positive - it wasn’t convincing. Three days later we had to do a blood test (which was new) - again, the line was soo faint. 15dp5dt my partner

Besremi Side Effects
Hello, I would like to hear from anyone who has experience with Besremi. After 9 years on Hydroxyurea, it stopped working for me. I now have some scarring in the bone marrow, as per biopsy. I am a 60 year old female, and now on Besremi since February 1, 2023 , about 10 weeks. However, two weeks ago
