Leg cramps

I drink a lot of Matcha tea with honey, also squash. One coffee breakfast but I still get cramp. My feet feel as they try to curl under, legs then feel heavy and cramp up to my hips. Last night both went very quickly and getting out of bed was very painful. Standing and trying to walk was laughable. Doubled over. I take painkillers but for cramps doesn't work. I'm on hydro and aspirin what do you all take.

my father in law drinks tonic water and eats a banana a day for leg cramps (potassium). But it’s unclear if your cause is the same. Either way it’s an easy thing to try.

I use a homeopathic remedy Cuprum Metallicum CH7-strength to be taken as-and-when. (5granules under the tongue), and it has done wonders for me. The lowest strength works for me, but there are “higher” ones…. Might be an idea for you to try out?

I hope you find a solution. Good luck.

This type of craping can have different causes. In my case it was due to magnesium deficiency, induced by long-term Nexium use. A daily magnesium supplement solved the problem.

Suggest having your magnesium levels checked rather than randomly taking supplements. While at it, you may wish to check a few other vital nutrients such as Vit D, Vit Bs, and iron. Nutritional deficiencies can cause a number of issues and when managing a MPN we need to do all we can to take care of our bodies.

All the best.
