New to Tinnitus
Hi I have only had Tinnitus in one ear for about 2 months. It started when I started taking Fexofenadrin for itchy skin. After about a week a buzzing in my ear started. I didn't connect the two until I stopped taking the Fexofenadrine for a week and the buzzing stopped. As soon as I started it again

Ivermectin
I was recently diagnosed with CLL after a year plus of repeating colds and respiratory infections. My whites were in the high 20's sometimes almost doubling in a couple of weeks time. Now they are in the low to mid teens and I feel good. So, my question is has anyone used Ivermectin with any success?

newly diagnosed tinnitus
Hi everyone, I’m very new to this journey as I started to get a strange noise in my left ear one morning about four weeks ago. I then forgot about it and realised it happened again. Since then I’ve had constant noise in my ears. I’ve been told I have no hearing loss, so it is stress induced. I’m finding

Adapt and keep moving forward
It can be so easy at times to get lost in all the adversity that comes from CLL, treatment and this life. I don't want to list all the hard, gut wrenching things I've encountered of late. Rather, I want to focus on getting past the denial, anger or depression side of grief and on to the accept

Travelling on the tube train
Hello I suffer from hearing loss in both ears, it’s the high frequencies I struggle with, I am just waiting to be fitted with NHS hearing aids. I am hoping they will help with the tinnitus I have had since November 2023 and my hearing issues. I notice that when I travel on the tube train in London

Tinnitus and mild hearing loss
I have been suffering with tinnitus for a while after being diagnosed with SLE 2010. I have also started missing conversations or getting the wrong end of the conversation. I have started to go off balance, like I've had a drink when I've not, veering always to the right. Yesterday I attended a vestibule

Do you Know Your Pulse?
Do you know what a normal resting heart rhythm is? Do you know what an irregular heart rhythm feels like? Did you know that an irregular pulse can be the very early warning signs of an arrhythmia? It is vital you monitor your heart rhythm by taking regular pulse checks. For further information

anxious, miserable, scared of menopause, sick of waiting, dieting and thinking about it
Hi everyone hope you’re ok. I am 40 in 6 months time. I have one failed round of ivf behind me ( three eggs didn’t make it to blastocyst due to egg quality) that was in august. I had a horrible experience with the nhs after that after being told I wasn’t eligible for another cycle. I fought this

Vertigo and fluid in ear
Hello, I have been suffering with vertigo for a few weeks. The doctor said it was to do with fluid behind the ear and I have been prescribed Betahistine, before that I was taking Prochlorperazine, neither seem to do much. I wonder if anyone here has had a similar experience and can offer any advice

Middle ear infection and antibiotics
Hi everyone, I have recently taken a short flight and experienced pain in my ears which is not unusual as the discomfort is usually a problem if I fly. Just as an aside my ears are always very sensitive in the winter months and cause earache. I have had them checked with GP and there is a middle ear
