Oddly Bisoprolol gave me lots of energy but made my lower part of legs ache, so I had to stop taking it. No idea why my mobile phone is underlining everything.

Isn’t it strange how different drugs affect people differently ?

It is most strange, totally weird how we can all be so different in our response to AF drugs.

Hi Jean, you will have accidentally selected the U at the bottom of the text box you’re typing in. You can do the same with I for italics and B for bold.

Yes thanks, I'm familiar with doing bold print etc, but this time tapping on the underline text didn't do anything. Was using my mobile, have removed it now via my PC.

Just a blip I guess.

All designed to drive you mad!

hello, I've been on diltiazem for years same as tildiem basically (slow release calcium channel blocker) , I get on really well with it, far better than bisoprolol. no real side effects, hear rate a little low but that has no affect vl on me. Bisoprolol made me tired. I am glad I swapped 100%. Good luck

I had the same problem. Much better now. Tildiem side effect though is constipation.

I’m on Verapamil, which is a Calcium Channel Blocker. I had terrible constipation with it, thereby causing bleeding piles. I now take a sachet of Laxido first thing before breakfast every day, have changed to eating wholemeal bread, and make sure I’m drinking enough fluids. It does the trick, and I’m ok now. Doctors have assured me it’s safe to have a sachet every day.

Beta blockers can also have constipation as a SE 🙄

I can’t take a beta blocker due to asthma . Started on diltazem (Tildeim) and it has so far suited me fine . Good luck
