TTC Naturally with some medication

Hi everyone I am wondering if there are women on this forum that have been successful ttc naturally with the help of medication like aspirin progesterone etc and if so what worked? I will be using ovulation tests just wondering if there are any useful tips.My acupuncturist has recommended cough medicine containing carbocisteine up to ovulation for my husband and I as it liquidifies viscous mucus in the body which can help with fertilisation.

I would really appreciate any advice.
