Fear of rejection
Hi everyone! So, I haven't been on this site for what feels like a while. I stumbled across this site some months ago when I was in a dark place and googling "lack of motivation" (haha) and it was just what I needed. A kind, supportive community of people who got it. Thanks to everyone who left supportive

Nottingham based members
Are there any Nottinghamshire based members who had a head trauma in the past/recently? If so I would like to connect and meet for a cuppa tea in town and share our stories. Personally I feel like talking to people about my bus accident would help me cope easier with some of the symptoms I am experiencing

PMR vs Polymyalgic-onset rheumatoid disease
Update to my PMR vs naltrexone comments posted here: As I concluded at the end of those comments, I actually have polymyalgic-onset rheumatoid arthritis/disease. I've been posting on NRAS. Low dose naltrexone is working very well for my RD; I have avoided prednisone and standard RD drugs, and my blood

Low dose naltrexone for alcohol cravings intefere with Anca positive MPA vasculitis treatment?
Using low dose naltrexone 50mg to curb alcohol cravings after going through a course of rituximab and currently taking prednisilone 25mg. Is this going to screw with my treatments?

Home Lifts - advice needed!
Hi - I hope the collective hive mind might be able to help me? My father was diagnosed with PSP two years ago, and has probably suffered from it for the last 5ish years or so - although we're told that he's been diagnosed at an early stage, which is something. It's being managed through a combination

Hello everyone. Hope I'm doing this right...
Hi all. I've resisted this forum since I didn't feel I belonged: my head injury wasn't life and death - it was a concussion. However, a year on and I'm still struggling badly so here I am. I hope that by reading about the experiences of others, I may pick up some tips. I could desperately do with some

In this study, we will determine whether treatment with L- Dihydroxyphenylserine (L-DOPS, Northera) in addition to dopaminergic drugs will improve postural stability and activity of daily living, and reduce fall risk and/or severity of falls in PD patients.Falls, early in PD (within 5 years of diagnosis

Had an early private scan not sure what to think?!! So worried?! Could this be another mmc? :-(
Had an early scan the details is listed below... Questions? Is that a normal size for the gestational sac? The yolk sac was seen is this good or bad? There was no fetal pole "due to a empty bladder" however, I don't think their equipment was very good as I drunk plenty but threw it all up. Is this normal

Hello all...
I hope everyone is coping ok, or as best as they can. Sorry I haven't posted here since very early after my fall and injury. I have come a long way since then when it happened in July last year, but it's always there to remind me. Being back full time at work certainly gets far too much, so it's great

What's going on? Why I am still not losing weight?
Hi, I've been on medication, forums, meds for about 2 years now and it's been impossible to lose weight. At first I just educated myself of treating me right to get the right thyroid numbers, adrenal healing, and others but today in spite my numbers I am still not losing weight. So what is going on?

Anxiety Attack
I sometimes experience 4 to 5 episodes usually at night or early morning where I am covered with a goosebump condition that is both hot and cold with shivers and lasts 5 to 10 seconds. Very annoying and upsetting but always subsides. The attack is always predictable.
