how to speak to your GP about very low TSH
hi, I have Lyme disease and Hashimoto's and I'm currently taking combination T3 and T4 therapy ( after reading that this can be a game-changer for people who are chronically ill with Lyme and struggling to get better) my previous TSH was 0.32, my T3 was just outside the top third of the normal range

NSAIDs Might Exacerbate or Suppress COVID-19 Depending on Timing, Mouse Study Suggests.
( NSAIDs = Nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs, eg Aspirin, Ibuprofen, Paracetamol ) New research shows that non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs) reduced both antibody and inflammatory responses to SARS-CoV-2 infection in mice. The study appears this week in the Journal of Virology, a publication

I find these sites, the (IBS) as well so good, as we have all been forced to see so called experts that fob us off most of the time. Male early 60s. I was on prednisolone from Aug 2019 to July 2020, tapering down from 15mg as per rheumatologist schedule. I also gave up alcohol and sugar, most red meat at that time. Shingles - part 3
After much googling, I can see that this is indeed shingles even though I only have 5 spots. The GP was actually quite panicky, he told me to come down immediately and pick up Aciclovir, he said that 5 spots is probably just the start and it must be nipped in the bud and worse still I am to stop taking

Addison’s with PMR
I believe I have PMR, I can’t move my neck in the morning and both shoulders are very stiff with pain. Had an ultrasound on both shoulders at my orthopedic and I have fluid in both upper arms with a lot of tendiniti in both. My right hip is very stiff in the morning as well. My CRP is 9.7 and platelets

Cracked nails
I would like to thank the person or persons who suggested to use Hard As Nails to help nails from cracking when using Imbruvica/Ibrutinib. I started using it and it is helping . I also found out that Vitry nail care for nail repair is also good but more expensive.

The Hallmarks of Cancer: Preserving Health and Longevity while fighting Prostate Cancer
[i]Note: I have been thinking about these ideas over some weeks and how they might apply to complement my therapeutic approach to my prostate cancer (HSPC T3cN1M0). Nothing here should be taken as suggesting an epigenetic and phytochemical approach as an alternative for optimally selected and medically

Why don't Doctors recognise the chronic after effects of Meningitis?
Hi Everyone. So I'm sat watching the news and they are talking about the effects of 'Long Covid'. Doctors are actually recognising the chronic symptoms patients are experiencing and planning how to improve their care. Covid has been around how long? How about Doctors listening to the Chronic symptoms

It is not Sunday - but I thought I would update you on my diet experiment
So, I went all out vegan on Sunday, I also stopped all oils including the Omega 3 red krill oil I have been taking for a couple of years, and other than a multivitamin and CalcD supplement stopped all other additions. Last Thursday, my Metoject Mtx dose went up slightly from 15ml to 17.5ml. On Sunday
