Should you drink coffee if you take Ramipril?
Ramipril increases potassium levels and coffee is high in potassium. On the face of it I should avoid drinking it. But coffee is also a diuretic, so is any higher increase in potassium cancelled out by being urinated out?

Update and question
I was wondering how people here are dealing with Covid-19. It would be the LAST thing we RLS sufferers need. I hope all of you are doing well in that regard and are taking good care of yourselves. My RLS is the same, nothing has changed. I still use the IcyHot and it works. It takes longer sometimes

What kind of doctor do I see?
What kind of doctor do I see to address RLS or whatever this is? I'm diagnosed by my PCP who thinks that, given the leg/arm pain and leg spasms, it might be something else. She's not well-versed and has just been Googling stuff.

Diabetes testing.
What do you mean by : my blood glucose test was 51 ? Mine is 7.2 and my GP is perfectly happy with that. Anything around 7 is okay by him. Just wondering what country you're living in. It might be the reason for such a huge discrepancy. Chris G

Do any of you men have this condition? I've read that liver disease can cause this (imbalance of testosterone and oestrogen) but it can also be a side effect of Spironolactone diuretic medication. I have cirrhosis and also take Spironolactone for pitting oedema in my lower legs and feet (the medication

In February I was attending a hospital appointment about my thyroid and the specialist said your blood sugar is a serious problem, when we’re you diagnosed? I was a little shocked as I hadn’t been. I have eye issues and numb toes which GP put down to thyroid and sent me on my way. The specialist said

Hi, my mum is diabetic and the thing is really weighing her down all the time. She has been eating according to her doc's recommendations, but her sugar level always goes up from time to time. Very poor sleep. Suggestions?
PD symptoms first appeared about five years ago. Officially diagnosed last fall. Not taking any allopathic meds or mucuna so far. My sleep is terrible, typically 3-5 hours per night. The problem is not physical stiffness or pain. Just difficulty falling asleep and staying asleep. I am not particularly

Interesting observation of Fasting Blood Sugar(FBS)
Couple of days ago, i took FBS reading in my glucometer before and after going to toilet in the morning. Surprisingly, both of these readings were exactly the same. It was 102 mg/dL. Couple of years ago, when i was initially diagnosed T2D, i took similar readings. Before going to toilet, FBS was 159
