My Current Stack (What is in Yours?)
Fabnusasked me what my current stack was so I am sharing it here. Please remember I have not been diagnosed with PD. I have RBD and some other symptoms.
Also remember I have a HS degree, poor impulse control, and I am prone to bad decisions. Please do your own research.

oxycodone withdrawal - any advice?
hello - I am in need of advice I am currently taking 150 pregabalin and 20mg Targinact which is 12 hour release oxycodone. Not only is this not working at all (had physically kicking legs from 9pm to 4am yesterday….) but I get severe withdrawal effects from the oxycodone - palpitations, panic, shaking

Nothing working. Cannot get Buprenorphine in our area because it is on red list. Really feel like we have

Gabapentine
Hi, I am taking gabapentine as I have nerve pain and numbness/pins and needles due to lumbar spinal stenosis. I've noticed that I have problems finding words when I'm speaking. It's so frustrating, just can't bring to mind the word I need. This happens fairly often. I was just wondering if other people

Statins and Malcolm Kendrick's: The Great Cholestrol Con!
I saw Helvella's post regarding the article in the Guardian on NHS checks; I did post this elsewhere, but I guess would only be visible to folk following the original post, so I thought it may be helpful to post separately. Some on here may well be aware of this work: The work of Malcolm Kendrick

'But you look OK'
I don't look OK, spinal curvature, so I've never had this. Can folks explain to me where the idiots who say this are coming from? Broken limbs, skin conditions, people don't look OK. Systemic conditions, heart, liver, kidneys, GI, people being correctly treated look OK. My SIL has myeloma - but she

Fiber
I have taken three doses of Metamucil daily for many years. This should alleviate any constipation and adds healthy fiber.

It is not all in my head.
If I take B6 Vitamin Pyridoxal 5 Phosphate 25 mg with water twice a day and B12 hydroxocobalamin subcutaneously 1 mg three times a day then symptoms known to be experienced with B12 deficiency are dramatically are reduced. If I only take B12 than symptoms become severe. The most noticeable and therefore

Are statins essential if you are suffering from AF and/or past strokes? And how much is 'good'?
Just seeking some views on what constitutes the 'correct' level of statins to take in various situations. I have been taking 10 mg of simvastatine for six months and found this is no problem for me and it has marginally reduced what was a very low LDL cholesterol level in the first place. But my doctor

Glucose Tolerance Test
Hi everyone, I am currently 27 weeks pregnant and had two risk factors for gestational diabetes - my BMI is 30+ and I have a first degree relative with type 2. Today I had my GTT, and won’t find out the results until next week, but ever since the test, I’ve felt very nauseous, headachey with the driest

Neuropathy
Are there any new helpful remedies to ease the discomfort of this neurological disorder? I am into another round of chemotherapy, docetaxel and Carboplatin and would love to have minimal addition to the discomfort I already endure.

New issue: cubital tunnel syndrome
Hi guys, looks like I’m about to get diagnosed with a new problem: cubital tunnel syndrome. I didn’t know what this was until about 2 days ago, when I got the results of an ultrasound on my elbow. It’s like carpal tunnel, but in your elbow instead of your wrist. For months now I’ve been having increasing
