Hi Eppy, sorry to read about your fall and indeed I do hope the itch does not plague you.The NHS website has quite a good article on various vitamins and minerals, you may want to check it out. I don't know anything about calcium nitrate but I do supplement with a vitamin D plus K spray to support bone health. I have osteopenia diagnosed pre covid.

Wishing you well.

I take 1200 mg of calcium citrate + D3 per day split into 2 doses, morning and nite

At the advice of gynecologist and hepatologist. I take it same time I take urso, in the morning and at night. Hope the ankle and toe heal quickly. All the best

Thank you im taking a slightly lower dose of Calcium citrate but also take K2 as heard it helps with absorption of calcium and vit D

Im now in walking boot so hopefully the healing process has started

Take care 🌻

I recently had a Dexa Scan and also have osteopenia. Hep doc said keep taking calcium (I take calcium citrate), vitamin D and exercise.

yes, please let your body heal completely before hitting the gym. Swimming though should be okay but the other activities can wait.
