High b-12
Just came back from my 6 month blood work. At 72 ALC after 5 yr watch and wait. Other than high monocytes, and glucose of 105, all other measures in normal range. However, my first test of b -12 came back at 1300. Normal high is 900. I expected it to be low! Any thoughts?

ET Jak2 W/Critically High Potassium - Not
The cocktail (key parts are insulin and

Mitochondrial Protections for Aging Humans
Mitochondrial biogenesis (renewal) favors replication of high-functioning mitochondria, while the more damaged mitochondria are more subject to mitophagy, mitochondrial death and reabsorption -a form of autophagy. My question: Might exercise and mitochondrial-specific antioxidants possibly protect

Pomi-T vs Pom Juice
I take 1 cup of Pom Juice most days based on the study attached. Doesn't taste great but I mix it with 1/2 c of Beet Juice. All organic. I have seen some talk about using the supplement Pomi-t. When I read the studies, too my non-scientific brain, it certainly looks like Pom Juice is the better of the

nausea disappeared and low glucose
Hi, are low glucose levels an indication of a miscarriage? I might just be overly paranoid but today, no nausea and levels have been below 6 all day which rarely happens even straight after eating. I have diabetes and am only 7 weeks. 😟

Severe Dumping
My partner was shoving
dextrose
tablets into me and it took about thirty minutes to resolve. I have never had confusion before. Just curious if others have developed this after so long.

PET to image estrogen receptors
Hello everyone and Merry Christmas! I read awhile back on here about women getting PET scans which used agents to image estrogen receptors, not the typical glucose agent. Can someone tell me what the test is called (PET imaging with FES?) and if you’ve used it, has it helped in detection of any new

safe pain meds for surgery
I was recently diagnosed with NAFLD and have a F0/1 score on the fibroscan. I have Upper Right Quadrant symptoms and high liver enzymes and extremely high ferritin. My treatment protocol is weight-loss and exercise (from a gastroenterologist). I’ve had this condition for at least 6 years, no one said

Intermittent Fasting Could Put Type 2 Diabetes Patients into Remission
The prevention or management of type 2 diabetes by following a calorie-restricted diet is not a new idea. There are now dozens of doctors' Youtube presentations on how to reverse T2D by simply cutting the carbs. Now, research from China shows it could be possible for people with type 2 diabetes to

diabetes and prostate cancer
I’m a stage lll patient with a tumor out and against the rectum. 18 months of ADT lupron and zytiga with near 40 rounds of radiation. I’ve been reading about a relationship between diabetes and prostate cancer. I was told that my treatment (reducing my testosterone) probably caused it to increase dramatically

Irisin reduces AS aggregation
Amelioration of pathologic α-synuclein-induced Parkinson’s disease by irisin Irisin is an exercise-induced polypeptide secreted by skeletal muscle that crosses the blood–brain barrier and mediates certain effects of exercise. Here, we show that irisin prevents pathologic α-synuclein (α-syn)-induced

Ray Peat & Thyroid Wisdom
Hi all :) I've mentioned a few times on this forum that the Keto/carnivore diet is the reason for my devastating decline into overt hypothyroidism where I became unresponsive to synthetics. Since that time, I've used this forum as well as the teachings of American physiologist Ray Peat to educate myself
