Advice on how to swap T4 for T3 and Prednsiolone for Hydrocortisone using CT3M
Hi, I'm going to try T3 only as I'm not getting full well taking T4/T3. I take 18.75mcg T4 and 16.25mcg T3 CT3M dose and another 2.5mcg split into two doses, but I don't think I've got that dose right. I think I would have to take an extra 5mcg T3 and wondered if anyone knew if this was right. Also

There r different therapies to treat this issue but it wd be v useful to hear of users experience. What worked or didn't work. How did the user arrive at a treatment that worked for them and what thyroid medication was taken in conjunction. Treating low cortisol/adrenal issues is difficult and there

Itchy little spots after eating
Hi there, the last few weeks l have had small spots appear on my tummy and arms and back - not more than 10 altogether but they get very itchy and angry 20 minutes after eating. It is making me miserable and had normal blood test results. If l don't eat the spots are like dormant and don't bother me,

Sores......
I suffer with SLE Lupus, underactive thyroid and chronic pelvic pain. Just recently I've had a sweat rash underneath my tummy. I'm now wondering if it's a lupus flare instead. I've had it now for about 3 weeks and no cream seems to be helping with it at all. I went to my doctor last week he didn't

AM I ON TRACK WITH MY REDUCTION OF HYDROCORTISONE?
Started on 15mg x 2 daily, morning and evening dose 14 February 2015 for my PMR which was finally diagnosed in January 2015. Fairly certain it started May 2014 when I sustained a fall playing table tennis. ESR level February 2015 was 16, 3 weeks of Hydrocortisone when bloods done in March was down

Post Exertional Malaise
Post-exertional malaise a defining, compulsory and cardinal feature for diagnosis under most current criteria. The term "malaise" defined by wikipedia as: a feeling of general discomfort or uneasiness, of being "out of sorts", often the first indication of an infection or other disease. This poor description

Hi, I have m.e - sadly it is not just badly treated hypothyroidism as inexplicable things come into play - although in the last year I have discovered how big a role my low cortisol v hypothyroid has been playing in my illness. As a result of this discovery I started using T3 only last September with

daily antihistamines on top of existing asthma meds?
Hi All Any of your little ones take a daily anti histamine as well as their other meds? My 12 year old recently had further allergy tests and he reacted to dust, cats, flowering trees, mold and grass. Just received a letter this morning asking us to get a prescription from GP for a daily anti histamine

One in five people will develop heart failure in developed countries
Great. So how healthy is the so called healthy diet which pushes low fat nonsense. Remove FAT and add sugars and carbs and the food becomes healthy? Ridiculous! Don't ask where is it written High Carb Low Fat. It is presumed as the so called body of experts - Mayo/ADA/AMA/AHA and their equivalents across

horrible scaly rash
For the last 3 months I`ve had a red scaly rash on my right thigh. It doesn`t itch or hurt, but it looks repulsive, like the skin of a reptile. Iv`e read that this can be a sign of underactive thyroid, but surely the medication I`m on should take care of this? I put tons of aqueous cream on it, but it
