4 weeks post Circumcision
Hi all, I'm 4 weeks today post Circumcision, how am I looking? Most stitches are gone and I can now get an erection with very little discomfort, although the head seems bigger but feel I have lost some length!!! Really find it difficult now not to have sex but I only need to wait another 2 weeks so will

Dental treatment and Blood thinners
Hello all, I am due a dental appointment next week, and I'm getting very nervous because this will be my first since I started on Apixoban (blood thinner). I have a very dodgy tooth that is due extraction - has anyone had a tooth out whilst on a thinner - was it done at the surgery, or is it a hospital

Alternative Therapy to Preserve Renal Transplants
I had a live-donor renal transplant 13 years ago, but I'm well aware that such transplants usually only last 15 years so I am looking for ways to preserve its function. I now take Renadyl, which contains microflora which have been shown in several scientific studies to reduce levels of uremic toxins

Preparation for Axumin Scan -- exercise/diet/supplements?
I'm scheduled for an Axumin scan on Friday afternoon but was given no prep instructions, so I've been checking online. I'm not a fan of radiation because of the potential damage and would like to do all I can to moderate the effects. So far, here's what I've found: 1. Limit physical "activity prior

76 Days After Brachy Therapy
Hi all, the last time I posted to this site was right before I had the seeds implants which was approximately 76 days ago. It took some time for me to decide to go with Brachy Therapy. I canceled surgery twice and almost canceled Brachy Therapy twice too. However, family, friends and also my doctors

Please be aware - be your own expert or use your clinical specialist service if you have any queries. I recently had a basal cell carcinoma removed and skin graft on my nose. I knew this was a possibility because of the immunosuppressant I was taking post transplant and had spoken about it’s possible

Thank you all, and there's always someone to listen or same experiences on here, dealing with a loved one mitral valve surgery
We were told she had been extremely lucky as the valve was described as being a "funnel" she consented to them using it for medical research. She now has warfarin for the rest of her life,12 weeks of rehabilitation and has to visit the hospital for any

BLeeding gums
Hi people. I found a post about bleeding gums but can't find it now. Could anyone help please. When I cleaned my teeth yesterday there was quite a lot of blood after spitting out toothpaste. I use Corsodil toothpaste and do have gum disease but this is the first time this has happened. All replies

Gfr of 10 but feeling well - is this possible ?
Hi everyone. My son is 23 and only 4 months ago we learned he had CKD and his gfr was 20. Last week we were told it is now just 10. Aside from occasional tiredness however he is feeling totally fine. No other symptoms of kidney failure at all. Is this normal ? He wants to delay dialysis as long as possible

Is it safe to have
dental
treatment
- I’m likely going for egg collection and transfer next week and the earliest appointment I can get is after next week for the dentist. Also do I need to tell them I’m having icsi? Goodness there is just so much to think about all the time! Thanks for reading.

Explanation of why levo & NDT don't work?
I'm looking for an article and/or video on this subject to assist a person with this problem. Some people (I am one of them) who have gut disorders, deep nutritional deficiencies, and other conditions, cannot respond well to levo or NDT initially; these patients need work on other problems first. Seroquel has stopped IBS and cramping!
My therapist put me on Seroquel for insomnia, (was only getting three hours of sleep last night..for the past two years). Not only has it made me calmer, and happier, it has completely stopped by stomach cramping and IBS. It has been years since I was able to eat anything heavier than child size portion

Permanent rigid aching, muscles across both shoulders - could this be over medication?
I don’t recognise this symptom and it’s fairly new to me in the last few months. Does anyone else recognise it?
