Stopping or not stopping Apixaban for dental treatment
I asked my GP surgery about Apixaban and dental work but they said ask the dentist. The dentist says ask then GP. Anyone else had this runaround and if so, what was the outcome?

So I'm so confused lol I phoned the gp who's receptionist told me my urine microalbumin level was 3 and satisfactory. I went and got a print out and infact my microalbumin was <3 mg/l which I'm gathering is good. My urine creatinine was 3.5mmol/L but there were no ranges so I'm not sure if that's good

. One good thing is I don't have much of an appetite. The other day in the early hours I came to life and went to the 24hour supermarket and then met the cat who lives near me.

My husband hasCKD. I’m so scared
Hello everyone! I’m really scared for my husbands life. He is 45 years old and his primary has just diagnosed him with CKD. He has GFR of 70. Doctor really scared us by telling us that at his age he would properly require Dialysis and a kidney transplant. We have an appointment to see a specialist

Dental issue whilst waiting for aortic valve replacement
To top it all I now have a
dental
issue that requires either root canal
treatment
plus crown etc etc or more likely an extraction. The dentist has given me a prescription for Amoxicillin to be taken 1 hour before treatment. I am a bit nervous about entrusting my heart to a dentist.

tomato sauce for prostate therapy
I saw a video where a holistic dr. mention that eating organic home cooked tomato sauce 3 to 4 times a week ,can prevent prostate cancer by %50, I would think those with mestastic prostate cancer can still help them along with what your doing like , radiation, surgery, and ADT. can't hurt because it

Round ligament pain - 22 weeks?
Hi all, I’m 22 weeks pregnant with twins and for the past week, I’ve experienced what the doctor thinks is round ligament pain on my right side that I’m finding quite uncomfortable. It’s mainly when I walk, but last night the pain was excruciating when on my walk that I barely made it home without vomiting

What went wrong?
I’ve been using Bentyl and it’s worked so well until this weekend; I’ve had to use the bathroom so much at school and I really don’t want to miss any more class, why is it interfering with my life again?

Low triiodothyronine levels correlate with high B-type natriuretic peptide levels in patients with heart failure
An association between low T3 and cardiac disorders. They appear to very responsibly avoid unwarranted conclusions - which came first? - but at least the question is being asked. [i] • Open Access • Published: 08 November 2021

Is an opiate the way to go?
I currently take 100mg Pregabalin and use 2mg Neupro patch (Rotigotine) and these are to control my RLS. However I have been on them for several years and they seem to be becoming much less effective starting about 4 months ago, I think I am getting into augmentation, particularly with the Neupro .

mouth ulcers
As I have been searching ages and cannot find the answer, I wonder if someone can help. I have a friend suffering badly with mouth ulcers and cannot find the name of the "magic mouthwash" people have referred to for this. Can anyone please let me know what it is/called in order to try and help her.
