I don’t recognise this symptom and it’s fairly new to me in the last few months. Does anyone else recognise it?

Permanent rigid aching, muscles across both shoulders - could this be over medication?
I can't say whether your aching muscles are the same as mine were some time ago, but for me that was due to being overmedicated. They ached especially when I was walking and were so uncomfortable at night that I thought it was my pillow and kept changing it. When I reduced the meds, the aching disappeared.
Hi Trixie,
That’s really interesting and very helpful. They feel as though I’ve over done it in the gym ( if I went!) so stiff and very achy. I don’t have it anywhere else in my body but might feet permanently ache.
Personally for me it was having high FT4 . Caused me have aches and pain shoulder pain and lots of sweating and anxiety . It can cause insomnia too .
I hope you get fast resolutions .
Hi jgellis,
That’s very helpful. I’ve reduced my T3 dosage slightly to see if I can feel any change.
My Ft4 levels are 19 (12-22) so really just past half way in range so I’d say it can’t be that.
I’ve reduced T3 from 15mcg to 10mcg so should notice a change within a few days if that is the problem.
My Ft3 is currently 6.2 ( 3.1-6.8) so that too is within range.
I get this too. Will be interested to find out what could cause this.
I have stiff, aching muscles which are losing strength but if I reduce my T3 even a little my brain stops working; what a choice.
