Adult Croup/chest infection/tonsillitis
Hey I was diagnosed with Tonsillitis two weeks ago and as it was starting to clear started coughing up clumps of blood so ended up at AandE where I was put on a nebuliser, given a dose of oral morphine, a dose of steroids and amoxicillin, told I had adult croup and sent home. It’s now been 5 days and

Prazosin with Docetaxel?
New Australian cell study below [1]. Looks like Prazosin may increase Docetaxel-induced toxicity. "Some quinazoline-based alpha1-adrenoceptor (ADR) antagonists have previously been shown to have cytotoxic actions in PCa cells, but there is no research into their effects on docetaxel-induced toxicity.

Potential Prograf Shortage?
There is an article in the Business & Money section of today's Sunday telegraph about pharmacies having trouble in supplying some key medicines. The article comments specifically on Epipen, but also "specific treatments for a host of serious conditions". This concerns me as having had a liver transplant

Any info helps.
My father first started his treatment for Hep-C, he was in stage four liver surrossis. He has now been testing negative for 1 year. We were just wandering what we should expect? I know this question might be hard to answer, but any information you could give us would be great.

Constantly sore, swollen gums!
According to my dentist I have healthy gums and teeth and I have regular check ups. However, I suffer badly from sore, swollen gums at the immediate base of various teeth - particularly lower jaw. It seems as if my gums react really easily to anything that may "bruise" them. It really pulls me down as

So many questions
I have so many questions to ask but my doctor doesn't have a few hours to answer them all. For instance why aren't people told that their kidney function is in decline by their doctor until they start getting symptoms or get to stage 3. This seems cruel and wrong to me? Why is your creatinine level

Anyone with reoccurring yeast infections?
I have been have yeast infections on a regular basis since I was 17 (now 28). For three years in a row, I had 6-8 yeast infections per year. I do literally everything to avoid them: I wear cotton lined underwear, I don't sit in hot tubs or baths, I don't use tampons, I don't use soap or body wash near

Second line Caelyx and bowel obstruction
Hello ladies, can anyone help me, I had second line Caelyx three weeks ago and ended up over the weekend in hospital with a bowel obstruction, luckily it pushed through itself as I was told it was inoperable, still not sure if it's scarring or tumour as scans seemingly are black and grey and not that

Update on my husband-Hankwhy(Mike)
I am Mike’s wife Kim. It was important to him that I update as well as give thanks. Mike is currently in the hospital. His hemoglobin got down to a 4.9 in a short period of time, doing better each day. After two rounds of Xofigo he had to stop. Side affects were brutal, never quite got back to himself
