2nd circumcision

im 25 and just got second circumcision yesterday my first was four months ago i had to redo because first doctor did a horrible job ,i just want to make sure everything goes right so i can finally be done with this. new doctor told me to keep bandage on for at least 9 days im ok with that but i just thought it needed air to heal quicker and should i check just incase to see if its all good and infection free? when is the best time to take bandage off? ..i can wait if need be.

Mine fell off 2 hours after op and never replaced it.

9 days is way to much, my doctor told me 24 hours, however I continued for 48 hours since there was still blood leakage. Right now I am on day 5 post OP.

My bandage fell off very early on, so I would think nine days is way to long. Let air get at it, I think this helps the healing process and have not heard anyone keep dressing on for so long. I do hope this is it for you.

I would have thought 9 days is far too long. I would just keep it on for 48 hours and then remove it. Hygiene is the key in helping to avoid infection. Avoid loose fitting boxer as they can rub and catch causing you more discomfort which you don’t want.
