Anyone with reoccurring yeast infections?

I have been have yeast infections on a regular basis since I was 17 (now 28). For three years in a row, I had 6-8 yeast infections per year. I do literally everything to avoid them: I wear cotton lined underwear, I don't sit in hot tubs or baths, I don't use tampons, I don't use soap or body wash near my vagina (and I use Summers Eve for the surrounding areas), I always wipe front-to-back, etc. I've been taking probiotics (as recommend by my doctor) for 8 months and the yeast infections are much less frequent, but I still somehow get them. I understand that some women get reoccurring infections and doctors have no idea why, but I'm young and I'm married and I hate having something like this constantly interfering with my sex life. Does anyone else have this issue??

Hi all my life I had what I thought was recurrent yeast infections. Even went to the special sexual health clinic to see a specialist. At the age of 61 I was finally diagnosed with coeliac disease and low and behold the discharge ceased within a couple of weeks. I was so uncomfortable at that time I couldn't tolerate pant liners. It solved loads of other health problems I had which were all being caused by the inflammation of coeliac disease. Even silly things like being unable to wear earrings in pierced ears has been resolved I can wear big dangly ones now!
