Dental health
I am a major proponent of dentists and dental healthcare. I have dental cleanings every 3 months. I made my husband who really disliked dentists realize what they do for our health. He has undergone several major dental treatments first bullied by me. But now he realizes how critical our dental well-being

Wondering if there is anybody else out there like me? Ascites was my first symptom and the side effects of having ascites. So far it is contained there. Wondering also if anybody has had hipec here in the USA for breast cancer mets to peritoneal cavity? Even if it was considered palliative care. Desperately

Things are changing rapidly
In my last report I had just received my first PSA result over 1.03 (3.70) and had my water works pack in. On 20 November I had surgery to sort things out. This showed that my cancer had now spread to the outer sphincter and blocked off the urethra. I had a Supra-pubic catheter inserted in my bladder

Mouth and lip sores
What are folks doing to mitigate these? I have one cold sore (herpes) and the occasional raw spot in my mouth. I haven't had a cold sore since I was a kid so I imagine this is meds related?

Dental treatment following a heart attack
I recently had a heart attack and my dentist now wants me to ask my doctor whether I need antibiotics before having dental treatment (to deal with bleeding). Does anyone know anything about this?

Issues resolved at last!
Hi Folks I am sorry for the long absence. Essentially Liz sustained some bruises and accused a member of staff of harming her. That was five months ago. The Social Services put restrictions on both the staff and myself whilst they investigated it. I had seen Liz that day and so had 'opportunity' and

Endocarditis warning card
“Happy new year” Do BHF still do the endocarditis warning cards at all? I was just curious and do you still have to have antibiotics before any dental treatment? I’ve been reading some very serious stories that have been due to dental treatment and followed by serious complications afterwards. Cheers

Niclosamide and Bicalutamide CombinationTreatment Overcomes Enzalutamide- andBicalutamide-Resistant Prostate Cancer

Targeting AR-V7 with niclosamide can resensitize bicalutamide-resistant cells to bicalutamide treatment. Furthermore, combination

Probiotics for thrush
I've had recurring vaginal thrush for the past few years. Doctors are useless. I've had it confirmed on various swabs that it's arare, non-albicans strain that "azole" treatments won't cure. So every time it comes back I can't use otc treatments and have to go through the hell of going to the gp, having
