Salty taste
Hi I’ve had a really salty taste too for 10 weeks now and it’s driving me crazy. It’s relentless and I’m preoccupied with it now to the extent it’s affecting my mood. I’ve seen the dentist and he can find nothing wrong, been to the hygienist in case it was something he missed and got a scale and polish

Monday round up
Good morning everyone. It seems such a short time since I was saying this last week, I can hardly believe another week of the year’s gone and March is here already. I enjoyed some cold but bright weather here over the weekend, interspersed with the inevitable rain, but on Sunday morning I was so delighted

Constant Metallic taste in mouth
Does anyone have any solutions for a constant metallic taste in the mouth - probably caused by Clenil preventative puffer? I rinse with water after every puff, clean my teeth 4 times a day & use a daily mouthwash. No thrush present & have also had blood tests .. nothing abnormal found . It’s really getting

My medical oncologist has recommended in-home hospice. I enrolled this past week. I am now on Palliative care only. A summary of my treatment since diagnosis

Hi all of my fellow Lingoes, as some of you will know that I have been diagnosed with advanced interstitial pulmonary fibrosis and I have been given a few months to live, however I am still very positive, so no problems there, I was visited by the McMillan nurses and what can I say, Vicky the first that

A BONUS EPISODE FROM SUPPLEMENTS REVEALED
I think we often feel lost and alone when our symptoms flare and no one to turn to. This series has been comforting and offers us hope because these doctors who are also biochemists or microbiologists are trying to find ways to help us in this journey and search for our best life. https://supplementsrevealed.com

Brevinor or Norimin?
Ladies has anyone tried Brevinor or Norimin combined pill please? I have been on Loestrin 30 for many years with no issues but it's now been discontinued unfortunately. Looking for similar low estrogen pill as Microgynon made me feel awful when I tried that before so don't want it again. Thanks.

Rectal/anal pain during period
Hi! I wonder if severe rectal pain during periods can be a sign I have endometriosis? When I am about to have my period, I get like a constant shooting/stabbing pain on my rectal/anal region that it's hard for me to sit, and I notice it aggravates my hemorrhoid as well. I am getting worried as the pain

Dental Work
Hi there, it may appear a silly or basic question so forgive me for asking. I need some dental treatment e.g. tooth extraction, filling and crown probably. Do I need to be cautious with the drugs I am given for pain relief or 'numbing' the mouth etc. I currently take Levothyroxine only. Thanks
