my father in law is on Imbruvica. He has persistent low sodium (125 now with sodium chloride pill 4 times a day). He also has huge painful sores on his head and neck. Has any else had these side effects and if so did they decrease the dosage or stop treatment

Apologies as a chemo patient I can't help on the Ibrutinib side effects, but if the sodium is low then it might also be worth checking the potassium levels (when your body runs out of sodium it switches to using potassium and you can run lownon that)
I'm also wondering if short of sodium, if there could be other things running low.
Best wishes,
Ernest
how long has he been on imbruvica? as time goes on a lot of this stuff-not all-gradually go away. the other thing-electrolytes-banana a day at least.
I've been on IB for 1 year and although i dont have the same symptoms as your fil - i do get bad leg cramps at night. I find a magnesium supplement helps.
