DBS...feeling pressured & can't decide!
How does one weigh out the risks & make the right decision as to having the DBS surgery? It's been 14+ years since my diagnosis at age 45. I am currently on Rytary 23.75/95 MG, taking 3 cap. 4-5 x day. With the first dose of the day I also take 1 tab. Ropinirole 0.5 MG. The 1st dose usually lasts about

Increasing Nature Throid dosage
Hi, I just started Nature Throid yesterday with 1/4 grain i.e. 16.25 mg and I'm meant to increase it by 1/4 grain once a week until I have 65mg (4 weeks). Does someone have experience of this kind of dosage? I was told by someone that it's too low. Did your symptoms get worse while increasing the dosage

Neuro patch
I am having DBS surgery this fall, but in the meantime, am taking 10 Sinemet 25/100 tabs daily. On/off periods are the norm, so I am considering wearing the patch. Looking for anyone with experience (good/bad) with the patch.. Thanks!!

Falling over after DBS
I was very fortunate to gave undergone DBS surgery almost exactly two years ago at the JR in Oxford. Almost every aspect of my symptoms have improved dramatically, the only problems I am left with is my totally illegible handwriting; my weak voice and, worst of all, the occasional fall for no reason!

DBS Denied. Any recourse?
My sister was denied DBS after having been told she was an ideal candidate. The neuropsych evaluator decided she didn't meet the criteria. Initially she was told she would have to wait 6 months to be reevaluated, then it was a year. This was supposedly because she might remember too much about the
